TROPHY
RULES
This
competition
is
for
players
aged
50
years
and
over.
A
Club
may
enter
as
many
teams
as
it
wishes
in
this
competition.
If
a
player
enters
the
competition
under
one
team,
that
player
may
not
play
for
another
team
in
the
same
competition.
A
maximum
of
3
reserves
will
be
allowed
and
score
cards
must
be
marked
with
an
“R”
beside
the
name
of
any
reserve.
Any
reserve
may
only
play
in
one
team.
A
team
may
only
start
a
game
with
a
full
complement
of
four
players,
on
the
ice
and
ready
to
play.
RCCC
rules
apply
(see
Rule
11(j)
for
late
arrivals,
non
attendance
and
penalties).
If
a
team
withdraws
or
fails
to
appear,
the
defaulting
Club
will
be
held
responsible
for
full
payment
of
ALL
ice
the
ice
involved.
Round
Robin
stage
Games
will
be
8
ends
or
the
bell.
2
points
will
be
awarded
for
a
win,
1
point
for
a
peel,
0
points
for
a
loss.
Qualifiers
from
the
round
robin
stage
will
be
on
decided
points,
then
ends
won,
shots
scored
and
finally
shot
difference.
Semi
final
Games
will
be
8
ends
of
the
bell.
If
peels
at
the
end
of
the
game,
a
nominated
player
from
each
team
will
draw
the
shot.
Toss
for
order
of
play.
The
first
played
stone
must
be
measured
and
removed
before
the
second
stone
is
played.
Team
sweeping
of
the
stone
is
allowed,
but
opposition
may
not
sweep
beyond
the
tee
line.
Final
8
Ends
or
the
bell
will
be
played.
If
peels
at
the
end
of
the
game,
an
extra
end
will
be
played
if
ice
rink
time
allows,
failing
which
a
nominated
player
from
each
team
will
draw
the
shot
as
provided
for
in
the
semi
final
stage.
