Timeline
March 20th Kaplan Lecture Notes (KLNs) & Videos (except Path) + Pathoma (Book & Videos):
I used to study to achieve understanding [not memorizing!], for 10 -12 hr/day, with
breaks every 1 hr. I also screened First Aid (FA) while reading KLNs, to make it
3 months

more familiar, I made some notes in FA, I also tried to do Questions from Kaplan
Qbank while studying. I finished 30% from the Qbank.

KLNs again (Notes only) + Pathoma (book only): I read them again to reinforce
my retention of the material. I made a lot of notes in FA (I thought FA is not
2 months

complete). I continued Kaplan Qbank , reaching 75%.

NBME (7), I got 224; this was my first exam, I decided to continue my plan!

I started reading First Aid with complementary watching of Doctors in Training

1 month

(DIT) and I did USMLERx (mostly hard Questions, around 1200 Qs)

NBME (11), I got 251; I decided to start USMLEworld

I started USMLEworld (2 blocks a day, tutor/systematic) with complementary

reading of First Aid (I finished 60% of the USMLEworld)
15 days

NBME (16), I got 243, I decided to put more effort and concentration on the First
Aid . I booked my exam in 1 month.

I continued USMLEworld (1 block a day, to finish the remaining 40%) & I put more
1 month

effort to read the First Aid all over again with complementary watching of
USMLERx Express Videos.

NBME (15); I got 256 (2 days before the exam)

Nov 4th USMLE step 1 exam (251)
