The photocopiers on the second and third floors do accept copy card, loose change and old style
bills. The photocopier on the fourth floor takes only cards. None of the copy machines in the Funk
ACES Library accept the special copy cards issued by departments. However, the Grainger
Engineering Library and the Biology Library have photocopiers that use these cards.

Can | charge copies to my departmental or research account at the
Funk ACES Library?
Unfortunately, the Funk ACES Library does not provide such services. There are alternative
methods though. The Interlibrary Borrowing office provides a service called Doc Express. Itis a
fee-based photocopy service, available to UIUC faculty, staff, and students to obtain copies of
articles from journals found in the UIUC campus library system. This is a photocopy service for
library users that may not have time to do the footwork themselves or prefer to have their materials
copied for them. Faculty and staff are charged $3.00 per article (up to 30 pages per article).
Students are charged $5.00 per article (up to 30 pages per article.
For more information on this great program, please read the UIUC Doc Express page. Don't
forget to check the Online Research Resources (ORR) database to see if we have an online
subscription to the journal you are interested in,
