I am writing for a position in the Human Resources Department. I learned about the position through
the VEI program in our class.

I am interested in this position as I have previous experience in similar work. Some responsibilities I
carry in my marching band as a drum major are overseeing and maintaining that people follow
schedules and complete the tasks they are assigned. I also helped set up systems as well as stepping in
when someone is lacking.

I would like an opportunity for an interview for the position, or walk with you about potential hiring
opportunities. I am available to speak on the phone, and am likely to check my email any time between
