    Year-end Accomplishment Report


    Year 2018

    Introduction

    The City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO), as the functional
    arm of the local government, established to ensure the welfare of the people within its
    jurisdiction covering the 4 thematic areas which are disaster preparedness, response,
    prevention and mitigation, and rehabilitation and recovery. In accordance to RA 10121
    or the Philippine Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Act of 2010, every Local
    Disaster Risk Reduction and Management office are mandated to create its DRRM Plan
    covering the said thematic areas for proper the appropriation of its funds and other
    purposes.

    With its goal to create a disaster resilient community, the CDRRMO formulated
    programs and activities in line with its function to capacitate the community towards
    resiliency.
