CONCRETE ADMIXTURES
Dr. Fixit Pidicrete SC is a specially formulated modified liquid admixture largely used for shotcreting / gunniting application.
It helps in an instant loss of workability, and also allows to adjust setting time for a period from one minute to twenty
minutes.

AREA OF APPLICATION:
For wet and dry Shotcreting at construction sites such as tunnels etc.

METHOD OF APPLICATION:
Mix designed concrete thoroughly with PIDILITE super plasticiser to achieve high workability and retention of slump upto
2 hrs (depending upon the dosage of the plasticiser). This addition shall avoid rapid workability loss during transportation
of the concrete.
At the site Dr. Fixit Pidicrete SC (accelerator) shall be added at the point of the nozzle for an instant drop in workability,
(say 140-160 mm to "zero") to help spraying of concrete with least possible rebound and with desired early strength to
cover the rock surface.

PRECAUTIONS & LIMITATIONS :

• Dr. Fixit Pidicrete SC should not be added in dry mixes under any circumstances If used for cement reduction without
loss in strength, the dose of Dr. Fixit Pidicrete SC will depend on mix design.
• Overdosing may lead to very early setting of concrete. Dr. Fixit Pidicrete SC is non-toxic and inflammable. When in

contact with skin, can be washed with water.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION:
Appearance : Crystal liquid
Sp. Gravity : 1.40 ± 0.02
Dose : Add 2 to 10 % (by wt.) of cement Dr. Fixit Pidicrete SC into the concrete mix.
Dosage will vary depending upon the acceleration of setting time desired.
