NIKOLA TESLA BIOGRAPHY
1. Who was Nikola Tesla?
Nikola Tesla was a Serbian-American inventor, electrical engineer,
mechanical engineer, and futurist, who discovered and patented the
rotation magnetic field, the basis of most alternating current machinery.

He was born on July 10, 1856 in Smiljan, Croatia and.His father, Milutin
Tesla was an Eastern Orthodox priest and his mom Đuka Tesla was a
housewife.

He studied at the Polytechnic School of Graz (1875), but In December


1878, Tesla left Graz and severed all relations with his family to hide the
fact that he dropped out of school. And in 1880 he resumed his studies at
the University of Prague.

2. WHERE HE WORKED?

Nikola Tesla worked in several electrical industries in Paris and in the


telephone exchange in Budapest, Hungary.

Then in 1885 the engineer George Westinghouse needed to supply the


country with long-distance energy, believing in the genius of Tesla,
buying his patents and becoming a partner of the Westinghouse
Company.

In 1884 in the United States I work under the command of Thomas A.


Edison, partisan of the continuous electric current.

Tesla founded an electronic research laboratory in New York.
