As much as Prospero loves his daughter Miranda their relationship isn’t an

uneasy one. Although Prospero is a socoror and has supernatural power, this makes
Miranda wishes she was “god of power” like her father. She wanted to save the
ship her father wrecked. After all plots of wrecking the ship was done he then
explain no one was hurt.

Miranda is around fifteen years old when the play begins, but her father Prospero
still treat her very much like a small girl, scolding her for not marking him
