Strategy Group maintained in MRP3 tab of Material Master in ECC

BUSINESS EVENT:

Business Event in APO (RAP) corresponds to Checking Rule in ECC (RBP) system. Checking rule is
transaction based, i.e. in standard SAP system, if you are creating the sales order, then it is A, if delivery
then it is B, if you are creating/releasing production order, then it is PP, if Stock Transfer Requisition
(PReq) then it is RP. This is almost fixed. What is the use of this as a single element it does not have any
meaning, but with checking group, it has a meaning. The Checking rule together with the Checking
group defines the Scope of check. The Checking group is what we see as Availability Check in Material
Master  MRP3 tab.
Business Event
ATP GROUP:

ATP group corresponds to Availability check field in ECC. Availability check is the Checking group in ECC.
