Online Food Ordering System In Php

Introduction:-

The online food ordering system provides convenience for the customers. It
overcomes the disadvantages of the traditional queuing system. This system
increases the takeaway of foods than visitors. Therefore, this system
enhances the speed and standardization of taking the order from the
customer. It provides a better communication platform. the user’s details are
noted electronically.

The online food ordering system set up menu online and the
customers easily places the order with a simple mouse click. Also with a
food menu online you can easily track the orders, maintain customer's
database and improve your food delivery service. This system allows the
user to select the desired food items from the displayed menu. The user
orders the food items. The payment can be made online or pay-on-delivery
system. The user’s details are maintained confidential because it maintains a
separate account for each user. An id and password is provided for each user.
Therefore it provides a more secured ordering.

Aim and Objective:-

Online platform for food ordering is a successfully business model. Many

traditional organizations have started using the online platform to increase
their market campaigns. Many Food ordering organization have started
using the digital world to make successfully million dollar business.

XAMPP-
XAMPP is a compilation of free software (comparable to a Linux
distribution), it's free of charge and it's free to copy under the terms of the
GNU General Public Licence. But it is only the compilation of XAMPP that
is published under GPL.
MAMP-
MAMP is a free, local server environment that can be installed
under macOS and Windows with just a few clicks. MAMP provides them
with all the tools they need to run WordPress on their desktop PC for testing
or development purposes,

Back End :-
PHP-
PHP (recursive acronym for PHP: Hypertext Preprocessor) is a widely-
used open source general-purpose scripting language that is especially suited
for web development and can be embedded into HTML.
HTML-
It stands for Hyper Text Markup Language. Hypertext means that the
document contains links that allow the reader to jump to other places in the
document or to another document altogether.
CSS-
Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) is a simple mechanism for adding style
(e.g., fonts, colors, spacing) to Web documents. These pages contain
information on how to learn and use css and on available software. They also
contain news from the CSS working group.
JAVASCRIPT-
JavaScript to program the behavior of web pages. Web pages are not the
only place where JavaScript is used. Many desktop and server programs
use JavaScript.

Advantage :

Future scope :-

• This System being web-based and an undertaking of Cyber Security

Division, needs to be thoroughly tested to find out any security gaps.
• A console for the data centre may be made available to allow the personnel
to monitor on the sites which were cleared for hosting during a particular
period.
• Moreover, it is just a beginning; further the system may be utilized in
various other types of auditing operation viz. Network auditing or similar
process/workflow based applications..

Conclusion :-

It has been a great pleasure for me to work on this exciting and challenging
project. This project proved good for me as it provided practical knowledge
of not only programming in PHP and PHP web based application and no
some extent Windows Application and SQL Server, but also about all
handling procedure related with “ONLINE JOB PORTAL”. It also provides
knowledge about the latest technology used in developing web enabled
application and client server technology that will be great demand in future.
This will provide better opportunities and guidance in future in developing
projects independently.
