VIGNETTE ANALYSIS
I have worked in an electrical distribution company as a sales and marketing person. We used
to receive purchase orders and execute it with relevant to projections given to us from the
customers.one of our senior member from the team used to place the purchase order to our
principle (ABB). But I have used to notice some issues in executing the purchase order for
some customers, as if he was acting all along that I have never passed on some purchase
orders to him and he used to give some reasons. If caught by our CEO/M. D he used to
convince them like the order placing value have exceeded this month and we can place it next
month. Due to his activities My credibility and my principles credibility took huge hit from
various customers and tend to loss huge amount of orders to competitors. I have decided to
take some actions to stop this kind of activities in MNC.

ETHICS
He doesn’t have any business ethics and he never cared about it. So I dropped a mail to our
CEO along with the proofs and the mail/ sms transactions between us. since he is
manipulating the documents and doing some un necessary /un ethical activities. But what I
got in response was a big disappointment, because he too never responded or acted upon this
issue. Such a dishonest and untrusted for their professions / employee and colleagues,
customers. They lacked the business ethics to work.
