As one of the Nutrition Officer (NO) we will monitor and support performance of
nutrition activities. We will manage and train field-level nutrition staff, perform on-going
monitoring and support supervision, program planning, liaising with the Mayor Organization
partners, and staff capacity building. And to coordinate the implementation of Community-based
Management of Acute Malnutrition (CMAM), Infant and Young Child Feeding practices (IYCF)
and other nutrition program activities in various project locations.
To ensure that the nutrition projects are implemented according to national CMAM
guidelines, and program objectives; Prepare and manage a work plan to ensure that all projects
are well supported.
Maintain adequate supply of Nutrition supplies and medicines. Coordinate with UNICEF
and Supply Chain and to ensure that nutrition supplies are procured/ delivered in a timely
manner.
Coordinate with GIK for acquisition of nutrition supplies by identifying and compiling
needs, support preparation of distribution plans and preparation of post distribution reports.
Follow up with nutrition Project Managers and field coordinators to ensure that the
CMAM database is accurately updated. Ensure that weekly and monthly updates are promptly
submitted to the cluster, communications and M&E
Identify staff capacity gaps and source for appropriate facilitators to train and mentors
staff for performance
Ensure that each Nutrition project identifies at least 50 community nutrition volunteers
and Mother support groups for community mobilization and promotion of IYCF key messages
among the child caregivers.
Whenever necessary, provide surge capacity to field teams with directly implementation
of critical projects including the UNICEF PCA
Prepare internal and external reports within agreed deadlines using WVSS and donor
formats, as required; including the cluster weekly updates and monthly reports
Maintain effective working relationships with GOSS Nutrition department, WV Health &
Nutrition team, other NGOs, community-based organisations coordination.
When called upon, participate in cluster meetings and concept notes in coordination with
the Resource Acquisition Team and Support Offices as needed;
WRITTEN REPORT ON THE ACTIVITIES PERFORMED
Day 1
We collected the materials for incoming nutrition month program and collected the
schools who participate on this coming Sayaw-It and Cook Fest .
Day 2
We arranged the certificates and the papers important on the awarding on program. And
after that we’ve practice the Zumba Dance as a commercial of the Program.
Day 3
Go on Brgy. Mamatitang Elementary School and put all the trophies and consolation
prizes and practice for the second time the zumba.
Day 4
We decorated the covered court where was the program assigned. Assisted the nutrition
officer on preparing such as cleaning and dance the zumba. After the awarding we help on giving
foods on the participants on the dance contest and to the teachers.

Assisted the important document such as project proposal and vouchers for signatory.

This school are one of the participants on the Sayaw- Awit Contest.
First Day

We joined on parade. It started on San Francisco, Mabalacat to Xevera, Mabalacat City.
Sixth Day
Assisted in Barangay monitoring of operation Timbang Plus at Brgy. Dau homesite
Seventh Day
Follow-up third quarter OPT plus at Brgy. Mauaque Maragul.
Eighth Day
Assisted the important document such as project proposal and vouchers for signatory.
Ninth Day
Assisted in Supplementary Feeding among under-weight school children

On our first week, they taught me how a nutritional officer job. If there some children are
Malnourish the Nutrition Office are In-Charged. They planning to start a program such as
Nutrition program and the Feeding Program for Children.
Last week of our immersion, we participate on the parade. And we assisted on the
Signatory of Vouchers on Accountant Office.
WORK IMMERSION HIGHLIGHTS (UNFORGETTABLE
LEARNINGS/EXPERIENCES IN IMMERSION)
The unforgettable moments in our work immersion are we have some friends even they
are elder. We’ve learned how to assist on feeding program and participate on Nutrition
Program. Decorated the place where was the program assigned. We learned how to be
friendly especially on our officemates.
