Procedure

 First of all, turn on the display on PC and run the software for centrifugal
pump.
 After you have started the PC turn on the switch which is at the back side it
will turn on the power meter.
 Set the points at the speed of your desire by means of speed regulator and
note value of your desired speed.
 For series operation, the butterfly valve V2 and V4 is closed while V3 is
closed.
 We know that as the flow increases the speed of pump also increases so the
pump must be adjusted to speed of your desire using speed regulator.
 Plot the measuring point when the measured values are stable enough.
 Follow the above procedure again and note the readings at different points.
Safety
 Make sure that the pump is not dry and is filled with water.
 Only connect the sensors with the cables which are mentioned in the user
guide.
 Wear goggles and gloves
 Do not supply voltage to sensors from external sources.
 Perform the experiment in the room where there is no flammable gas and
dirt and it should be dry.
 Pump should be operated at required voltage which is mentioned in the user
guide. It should not either exceed or decrease.
 For head protection wear helmet.
 Do not remove hoses from the sensors.
