Rep. Jim Marshall (D-GA) has said, as have a handful other
Democrats, that he will not vote for Nancy Pelosi for Speaker of the
House again. He even ran an ad trying to distance himself from her.
But he has taken $47,000 from Pelosi since 2000.

Marshall was interviewed about this yesterday, and according to him, "I've
not taken any money from Speaker Pelosi during the current cycle, and
none of the money I have in my campaign account has come from Speaker
Pelosi, so I don't really have any of that money to return. I'm thankful she
contributed to me in the past, it helped me stay in Congress."

Rick Jeffares for Georgia Senate

Hey Henry, if you're a politician, and make a four-year commitment to the

voters.. People are talking about Rick Jeffares and is bid for a seat in the
Georgia Senate.

The Citizen talked to Rick Jeffares, Republican candidate for Georgia

Senate. Jeffares resigned his county commission seat, and announced his
intention to run for senate seat.

Sen. John Douglas pulled out of the race to run for PSC. The Henry
delegation has 4 House and 3 Senators. Rick saw, "An opportunity to right
the ship, to save the seat for Henry County."

He also said, "Whoever wins the District 2 commission race will be local
person with heart and mind in Henry County. We need the same dedicated
mindset under the Gold Dome."

Rick Jeffares is the first person born and raised in Henry County to hold a
state senate seat since Alex Crumbley in 1982.

Thank you for your support and participation

TINA MARIE CORIA TALKS TURKEY

TO DISCUSS A PROBLEM SERIOUSLY WITH THE INTENTION OF SOLVING IT

TINA MARIE TALKS TURKEY ON THE ECONOMY!

QUESTION: MS. CORIA, WHAT WILL BE YOUR FIRST PRIORITY IF ELECTED DISTRICT #2 COMMISSIONER?

RESPONSE: AS YOUR COMMISSIONER, MY FIRST PRIORITY WILL BE TO DIG DEEP INTO THE EMPLOYMENT PICTURE IN HENRY COUNTY. AND I
WOULD BEGIN IMMEDIATELY TO:

1.) REVIEW THE MCDONOUGH JOB FAIR MODEL AND IMPLEMENT SIMILAR JOB FAIRS WITHIN THE COUNTY. MAYOR COPELAND HAS DONE A GREAT
JOB TAKING THE LEAD ON JOB FAIRS AND WHAT A GREAT DIVIDEND IS BEING REALIZED BY MARRYING UP NEEDS WITH WANTS !!!

2.) LOOK AT WAYS TO ACT AND REACT TO THE NEEDS OF THE HENRY COUNTY DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY.

3.) FOCUS ON CORE AREAS OF EMPLOYMENT GROWTH SUCH AS MANUFACTURING AND TECHNOLOGY.

4.) PROVIDE REALISTIC INCENTIVES FOR GOOD PAYING COMPANIES TO COME TO HENRY COUNTY.

5.) CONSULT WITH SCHOOLS OF HIGHER EDUCATION IN THE COUNTY TO PROVIDE ADDITIONAL TRAINING AND ON THE JOB TRAINING TO
COMPLIMENT EMPLOYERS' STANDARDS AND/OR EMPLOYERS' NEEDS.

6.) LOBBY LONG AND HARD FOR FEDERAL AND STATE ASSISTANCE.

7.) CONSULT WITH THE OTHER DISTRICTS WITHIN THE COUNTY TO DEVELOP A FAR REACHING COMPREHENSIVE "WIN-WIN" PLAN TO BRING GOOD
PAYING JOBS TO THE COUNTY. THIS WOULD ALSO INCLUDE COLLABORATION WITH THE CITIES OF HAMPTON, STOCKBRIDGE, MCDONOUGH AND
LOCUST GROVE.

TINA MARIE TALKS TURKEY ON TAXES!

QUESTION: MS. CORIA, WHAT WILL BE YOUR APPROACH TO TAXES?

RESPONSE: AS YOUR COMMISSIONER, I WOULD HAVE A DUTY TO KEEP TAXES LOW. HERE ARE A COUPLE OF MY THOUGHTS :

1.) APPOINT A COMMITTEE TO PLAN THE PHASING IN OF A STOCKBRIDGE POLICE DEPARTMENT; AND THE SUBSEQUENT PHASING OUT OF THE
HENRY COUNTY POLICE DEPARTMENT IN THAT AREA. FOR TOO LONG, THE SOUTHERN DISTRICTS OF THE COUNTY HAVE BEEN SUPPORTING THE CITY
OF S TOCKBRIDGE. A MORE EQUITABLE APPROACH IS APPROPRIATE.

COST SAVINGS: MILLIONS...

2.) GRANTS/DONATIONS ON BEHALF OF THE HENRY COUNTY COMMISSIONERS TO SUCH ORGANIZATIONS AS THE HENRY COUNTY QUALITY GROWTH
COUNCIL MUST STOP (THE LAST GRANT WAS FOR $60,000 OF YOUR TAXPAYING DOLLARS). I WILL DO ALL IN MY POWER TO VOTE AGAINST ANY
AND ALL TYPES OF DISCRETIONARY SPENDING OF THIS NATURE.

COST SAVINGS: HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS....

3.) I WILL RECOMMEND THAT ALL SALES AND PURCHASES OF COUNTY VEHICLES BE EXTENDED FOR A PERIOD OF 18 MONTHS.

COST SAVINGS: THOUSANDS...

4.) I WILL APPOINT A "GO GREEN" COMMITTEE TO STUDY AND RECOMMEND WAYS IN WHICH THE COUNTY CAN MAKE MORE EFFICIENT USE OF OUR
ENERGY NEEDS. I WILL ALSO HEAR ARGUMENTS ON THE FEASIBILITY OF ELIMINATING PLASTIC BAGS IN H ENRY COUNTY; AND OTHER "PRO-GREEN"
SUGGESTIONS.

COST SAVINGS: THOUSANDS...

5.) I WILL RECOMMEND THE CREATION OF A "CITIZEN'S REVIEW BOARD." THIS BOARD WILL HAVE A MYRIAD OF RESPONSIBILITIES WITH THE
PARAMOUNT OBJECTIVE BEING THAT COUNTY GOVERNMENT IS RUN IN A COMPLETE ETHICAL AND MORAL WAY. EMPLOYEES AND CITIZENS WILL NOW
HAVE ANOTHER AVENUE TO EXPRESS THEIR CONCERNS WITHOUT FEAR OF REPRISAL(S).THIS REVIEW BOARD CAN ACTUALLY SAVE US A LOT OF
MONEY JUST IN WRONGFUL TERMINATION LITIGATION EXPENSES.

COST SAVINGS: THOUSANDS...

6.) I WILL TAKE PROACTIVE MEASURES TO MAKE SURE THAT WE HAVE HELPFUL MECHANISMS IN PLACE THAT WILL PROVIDE A SOUND FUTURE FISCAL
POLICY FOR THE NEXT TWENTY YEARS. THIS WILL INCLUDE "STRAIGHT-UP" BUDGETING WITHOUT THE "FUZZY MATH". AND A "RAINY DAY FUND" IN
LIEU OF DISCRETIONARY SPENDING .

COST SAVINGS: THOUSANDS...

7.) I AM ALWAYS SO SURPRISED WHEN I WALK THROUGH OFFICES OR COUNTY OR BUSINESS BUILDINGS, ON MOST EMPLOYEES ' DESKS, I ALWAYS
NOTICE A COFFEE CUP HOLDING AT LEAST TWENTY PENS, PENCILS AND HIGHLIGHTERS. WHAT ARE THEY ALL BEING USED FOR? I WOULD ASK THAT
ALL COUNTY EMPLOYEES "PITCH IN" FOR COST SAVINGS. DURING THESE TOUGH TIMES, I BELIEVE WE CAN GET MORE DONE WITH LESS.

COST SAVINGS: HUNDREDS...

TINA MARIE TALKS TURKEY ON THE ENVIRONMENT!

QUESTION: MS. CORIA, WHAT WILL BE YOUR APPROACH TO PROTECTING OUR ENVIRONMENT?

RESPONSE: AS YOUR COMMISSIONER, I WOULD WORK HARD TO LOCK DOWN OUR LAND USE MAP BY HAVING IT CODIFIED SO THAT SPOT ZONING
WOULD END AND WE WOULD HAVE TO PUBLICLY AMEND OUR LAND USE MAP, AS THEY DO IN PEACHTREE CITY AND FAYETTE COUNTY, BEFORE ANY
EXCEPTIONS TO ZONING COULD OCCUR . WITHOUT A PLAN YOU AIM AT NOTHING, AND WHEN YOU MAKE A PLAN YOU NEED TO STICK TO IT IN ORDER
TO OBTAIN OUR GOALS FOR THE FUTURE AND FOR OUR CHILDREN'S FUTURE.

Press Release

Warning! Georgia Seniors and Disabled Individuals under 65. Medicare Advantage Plans are changing 1/1/11. Join us to
learn more about how this will affect you.

What: Senior Health Care Forum. When: Thursday evening, 10/28/10, 6:30 - 8:00 PM. Where: Peachtree City Hall
Council Chambers, 151 Willowbend Rd (southeast corner of Ga Hwy 54 and Willowbend Rd).

Almost 12 million people, or nearly one quarter of the 48 million Medicare populations, are enrolled in Medicare
Advantage, the privately administered plans that are an alternative to the traditional fee-for-service Medicare program.
Source: Kaiser Family Foundation website.

Georgia residents have been hit especially hard as insurance companies are dropping or changing Medicare Advantage
Plans effective 12/31/10. This means you will probably lose your choice of doctors along with other significant premium
changes.

The enrollment period for Medicare Advantage Plans is from 10/01/10 - 12/31/10 so you have very little time to react to
the coming changes.

Seniors and others are finding it increasingly difficult to find doctors, labs and hospitals willing to accept Medicare
because of payment schedules, billing nightmares and long payment delays. Unfortunately, the situation is expected to
only get worse!

In a recent congressional subcommittee hearing, Kathleen Sebelius, HHS Secretary, was asked "what do you expect will
be the outcome of these requests for rate increases?" Sebelius replied, "Well I think the rate increases are likely to
continue to be somewhat substantial."

Secretary Sebelius was absolutely right! Connecticut has just given Anthem Blue Cross, Anthem Blue Shield and Aetna
the go ahead to raise premiums effective 10/1/10 by 47% for some members. According to Connecticut Insurance
Commissioner Thomas Sullivan, "the reasons are the very rich benefits mandated by federal health care reform law.
Source: Hartford Courant Newspaper.

How long do you think it will be before we see these increases all across the country? Some Fayette County seniors have
already received premium quotations double and triple present rates.

Well folks, here's the bottom-line: "We the People" were duped by the Democrat's power grab led by Pelosi, Reid and
Obama. You can strike back at the outrageous Statist progressive politicians by getting informed and removing them
from office. GO VOTE NOVEMBER 2, 2010!

Forum speakers: Dr. Brian Hill, M.D., Atlanta physician and author, Mr. Ron Bachman, national health care insurance
expert, and Mrs. Linda Mulligan, independent insurance broker. Each panel member will address the audience for 10 to
15 minutes and then participate in a question and answer period.

"We'll let the community and the people make their choice. We want the people
we place in these positions to be people that we can trust, [we] can have an
open door policy with, and who will be visible within our community."

Rev. Thomas Hester, an ex officio member of the executive board of the Henry
County Branch of the NAACP, said the need for such community discussions is
on-going. "The problem is getting people to see the necessity of those
discussions even when there is no election coming about," said Hester, a
resident of Stockbridge. "It's just an issue of voter education, and the NAACP is
trying to assist in that regard.

"The hope is that the community will be able to confirm, or figure out, the
candidates that they can support, or not support," he said. "Hopefully, the
people who show up will be able to see what's been done, or what has not been
done in the county, and make their decisions."

Jackson Mayor Towed Truck

Butts County GOP Chairperson Displayed Austin Scott Sign

The Mayor of Jackson had our truck towed & impounded on a Sunday morning because it had a political sign for a
Republican candidate in the back!

On our way to Church on Sunday, we dropped off our truck at about 8:45 AM in a public parking lot in downtown
Jackson. After Church, we went to pick it up. It was gone! According to the paperwork, the Mayor called in not even 15
minutes after we left to have it towed "immediately" because of the Republican political sign.

That was the reason given when we went to the Jackson Police Department to find out what happened to our truck. The
Mayor's known to be a Democrat and our sign is for the Republican candidate for United States Congress, 8th District,
Austin Scott.

We asked what was the violation or infraction and were told there wasn't anything indicated and they didn't know of any
that applied. We asked for a copy of the Call Log, but were told they couldn't give it to us because the City Attorney
was now involved.

If anyone knows of a Conservative Constitutional attorney who can help us file a complaint, please let us know ASAP!
Also, we need to know what other options we have for pursuing this wrongful towing & impounding of our vehicle. What
the Mayor did was an abuse of power, and perhaps a violation of free speech.

We will be appearing on the local television program "The Agenda" to discuss this incident. We decided it should not go
unnoticed or without consequences. People need to stand up, speak out and take action!

We appreciate your providing this publication, The Citizen Newsletter, for helping get the word out.

This situation is a perfect example of a major difference between Conservatives and Liberals.

If Conservatives don't like something, they won't look, or listen or participate.

If a Liberal doesn't like something, they want to abolish it, or remove it or make it against the law.

The School Board Election

This campaign has been one of the hottest and most overcharged emotionally than many campaigns have been this
year.

Charges and countercharges have been levied back and forth in the 5th district as though we were fighting a battle on
some ground somewhere with large guns. There have been people to get in behind this attack formation and push the
buttons to make sure that trouble is stirred that is for sure.

I met Rodney Christopher at one of the CRW meetings. He was very nice and presented his case to me as if I were
judge and executioner. He has been visiting the BoE meetings to learn what they are doing. I met Ryan Davis for the
first time at the yard sale for the Wall of Honor. He seems to be quite a knowledgeable young man. Many people have
put him down because he is young. Everyone must start somewhere.

I know there has been a great deal of mud slinging in this race and it has not helped either side. The voting public
doesn't care too much for mud slinging. They want to know what is the agenda being proposed by the candidates. We
all know that Mr. Christopher is democrat by party which means that he is likely to have liberal standards or something
in between liberal and conservative. Mr. Davis is republican and conservative being brought up on conservative values.

The crux of the problem is that it has been a race run by those outside the camps. People know what each man stands
for and give them the equal time to present their case to the people. We need people who are going to advance the
Henry County School System.

Fred Auletta on Facebook

Tara Field is an untapped jewel for economic development. With only 393 U.S. primary airports Henry and Clayton
should work together to develop a strategic plan and petition our Federal Legislators and the FAA to fund its expansion
to become a Regional Economic engine.

PEANUT GALLERY: Yeah, folks around here need to wake up, Houston has the George Bush airport and Hobby Airport,
Dallas has DFW and Love Field, it's about time some folks get with it.
Dallas, Houston, Hampton.. Yeah, sounds comparable.

VOICE OF REASON: As a former Air Traffic Controller, I can tell you that because Hampton lies within the 40 mile radius of
Hartsfield "Controlled Airspace" it is unlikely that any volume of traffic would be allowed by the FAA. That being said, if
the the FAA and State Legislature are given a choice between economic development of Henry County and the busiest
airport in the United States, Hartsfield, it's probably a prety clear choice for them. Again, that's not even taking into
account the safety issues that would arise from development of Tara Field.

ANALYSIS: Who now owns the majority of property surrounding Tara Field? What are the long and short term county-
wide benefits to expansions of the airport? Other than a handful of property owners and investors, would this area
survive a cost/benefit analysis? What about targeting the area for a Tax Allocation District? Again, short term benefit for
a few.

Political Splinter Groups

By TheDoctor

In politics today, we have many splinter groups that have formed from the main two party format that we are used to
here in America. Many of these groups are formations of the Tea Party movement. Some are just formed because they
cannot get along with the party in their area. It is like a church splitting its congregation into two.

One weakens the other and vice versa.

When a party splinters into various groups then we have the chance for infiltration by the party that they are against.
Say Republican vs. Democrat; the Republican splinters into smaller groups and some Democrats work their way in and
disrupt the proceedings. This is weakness of party and also brings on hard feelings with people who have been friends
for years.

Why would a group want to splinter from the main group?

1. To begin with there could be differences of opinion.

2. There may be a problem with the platform.
3. There could be jealousy in the membership.
4. There may be disrespect for protocol.
5. Money can be a problem in different ways.

These are samples of what causes this problem to arise.

Then there can be problems on which candidate to support. The main group may support one candidate while the
splinter groups support another. They see their policies as being different and then the trouble starts.

Many times in these days people on blogs intervene their opinion as if it were authoritative. They will say horrible things
about a candidate in the hopes that it will gain favor for their friends. What they don't understand is that they have no
real friends just money friends. And when the party is over the friends dry up. The real friends are those who can
disagree and still remain your friend.

So this is politics today amongst the splinter groups. And the sad thing is that what they do and propose will usually
cause the other party's candidate to win the election. Then they sit around blaming the others for the loss.

Well folks, I am the Doctor (Dr. Mike Moon) and being Republican, Democrat, Libertarian, Independent, etc. doesn't
mean as much to me as being an American who loves his country and his home. I want to see our nation stand tall and
be what it stands for and not all this rabbling about money friends. We are the People of this United States and we
better wake up and take a good look before the party is really over and we stand before something we have worked and
fought against all our lives and that is Radical Socialism at it's worst. Thank you for listening.
