PIALA SMART READER KIDS 2018

PROGRAM TEXT NOTES

Good morning ladies and gentlemen, the competition will
be starting shortly, so please take your seats in Aula
Perdana.

* Ladies and gentlemen, as a kind reminder, please lower

your voices and ensure that your mobile phones are
switched off or turned into silent mode as this is a formal
event.

Your cooperation is very much appreciated.

Ladies and Gentleman, we are here today for the

Storytelling Competition for Piala Smart Reader Kids 2018.
INTRO
Before we begin, I would like to invite our honorable
judges and the time keeper to take their respective seats.

To start, let me introduce the panel of judges.

Before we proceed any further, allow me to highlight some

rules and regulations of today’s competition.

Every contestants are to observe the following

rules :
1. Stories presented can be authentic, adapted or
RULES AND originally written.
REGULATION 2. Stories presented MUST NOT touch on sensitive
issues such as races, religion, stereotyping, politics
and so on.
3. Contestants are ONLY allowed to use the stand
microphone provided to ensure minimal movement.
4. Contestants are required to wear costumes.
However, any use of props are strictly prohibited.

5. Each contestants are allocated 4 to 7 minute to
present their story. The bell will be rung at the 7th
minute. Marks will be deducted thereafter.

And last but not least, all the judges’ decisions are final
and individual marks will not be disclosed.

Thank you Action Song team for the mesmerizing

performance. We are now taking a break before moving
on to the second part of this competition.
Contestants are given 30 minutes to freshen up, and we

PROMO Before we begin with Level 2 competition, I would like to

invite Mdm Kalai Chelvi Alagendra, the Director of
Development and Operations of Smart Reader Worldwide
to briefly introduce Smart Reader Kids and its new
program. Please welcome.

speech. We will now begin with our level 2 competition.
That was interesting, wasn’t it? With that, we wrapped up
the competition for Level 2. While waiting for the judges to
deliberate,

Now we have the results in our hand, we will be moving to

DIKIR BARAT the closing ceremony soon. But before we do, ladies and
