Ipad Acceptable Use Policy For Arts Courses 2018
You must read and sign this form in order to use the school’s ipads.
-I will utilize the iPad for its intended purposes and will neither willfully damage
nor endanger the condition of the device.
-In the event the device is malfunctioning, I will make a report to the Teacher
immediately.
Disciplinary Procedures:
We will utilize apps and the internet on school iPads periodically. These are
to be used for activities approved by the teacher ONLY. If there is any
horseplay or suspicious behavior, it will result in detention, a call home,
and/or a meeting with the teacher/principal/parents.
If the student proves to be irresponsible and unable to handle the iPads safely, he/she will
no longer be allowed to use the equipment and will be disciplined.
Any damages inflicted by the student on the camera/computer equipment will
immediately be reported. Damages incurred will be the responsibility of the student and
parents/guardians to pay for repairs and/or replacement if necessary. If costs are not paid
by the parent/guardian before the end of the school year, it will result in a withholding of
the student’s transcripts and/or school records until the cost is paid in full.
iPads are to be treated carefully and returned in their designated area (decided by teacher)
by the end of each class period. The student may NOT under any circumstances leave the
room with the iPad for any reason whatsoever. If this is done, the student will be reported
for theft and will face consequences with administration.
