Do you have a carnival or festival in your town, city or area which is worth
mentioning? What does it involve?

First of all, I must say that I love carnival. It’s a special day that you can became who or
what you want.

In Spain there are some really famous carnivals like for instance Las Palmas carnival or
Cadiz carnival but in my town there is a carnival too, it’s not as famous as Cadiz carnival
but it’s very amusing (or enjoyable). I always look for some costume to wear with my
friends or sometimes we make a costume, if we have time... I think that it’s better to
make it.

Carnival is a party where you meet with your friends and together can to build a float
and make costumes about some topic. It’s celebrated on February and this day at 8
p.m. there is a parade where we almost always take part in. Lastly there is a party and
everybody dance in the street or pubs.
