    • The AMNH has claimed the right to build on the entirety of the park in the future
    • At least 1,000,000 visitors expected to use the huge new Columbus Ave structure as
    the main AMNH entrance, snarling traffic and further choking the 79th St subway
    station.
    • The new entrance will turn Theodore Roosevelt Park into a mini-Times Square instead
    of the peaceful place of respite it is now.
    • EXCELLENT AND VIABLE ALTERNATIVES EXIST. Even the AMNH’s own architect admitted
    the Museum could accomplish all their programming goals without taking away any
    public parkland.
    WE LOVE THE MUSEUM, BUT THIS IS A FALSE CHOICE THAT
