SWOT ANALYSIS
4.1 Introduction
SWOT analyses is an well known technique for analyzing the internal and external
environment of in organization is called as SWOT analyses. It is simple tool that is helpful in
studying the internal Strength and Weakness, external Opportunities and Threats of the
company.
In the SWOT is an acronym for the definition of the Strength(S) and Weakness(W) are
considered for the internal factors of the it have some measures of control.
And also definition of Opportunities(O) and Threats(T) are considered with the external
factors over which you have essentially no control.
SWOT analyses involves identifying the business objectives and defining significant internal
and external factors of such achieving the objectives. The main aim of conducting SWOT
analyses , is to help the business in protecting itself against threats to exploit the potential
business opportunities. This analyses for essential for formulating the strategies as the bases
of the company. SWOT analyses helps in studying the overall soundness of the business.
SWOT analyses is the most renewed tool for the audit and analyses of the overall strategic
position of the business and its environment. It views the all positive and negative factors
inside and outside the firm that effect the success. A consistent study of the environment in
which firm operate helps in forecasting/ predicting the changing trends and also helps in
including them in the decision-making process of the organization.

Pricing policy from the sugar it is more difficult to fix in certain situations.
Frequent changes in the policy decisions of the state Government / state power
corporations regarding purchases of power from the bagasse based on cogenerations
unit, would hit the very survival of the industry as great as a majority of the units are
embarking on diversification into bagasse based cogeneration by sacrificing the
profitability in the sugar sector.
