ELSIE BROWN

Elsie Brown, born 2 January, 1893

in Illinois, US, was a critically
acclaimed American author,
specialising in the genre of short
stories about ghosts. Her famous
works include A Shady Plot and
Hat. A Shady Plot itself is about an
author with an uncanny ability to
write ghost stories. She died on
November 11, 1965 and is buried
in Fort Coffee Cemetery in Spiro,
Oklahoma.
