People and Politics

What I have learned from the chapter?

Many people were intrested in politics after Aristotle tried to understand and to explain
how people should be governed. The study of political science was found first at Columbia
Unversity in 1857. The study of political science is to understand and explain politics, politics
institution, and political behaviour. However, for the second half of the twentieth century the
disciplines divided into two variety, theoretical and methodological approach. But in the 1980s
and early 1990, the two schools started to relating its studies to each other. The third president of
Indonesia, Bacharuddin Jusuf Habibie, is also an aircraft engineer. Habibie was called by
Indonesia’s second president to develop industries in Indonesia. In 1998, Habibie was appointed
to be the vice president. In regards to large-scale riot in Jakarta, Suharto resigned as the
president. This made Habibie became the third president of Indonesia.

What I have known about the chapter before reading?

I already know the story of B. J. Habibie as the third president of Indonesia and how he
was appointed.

What I want to know more?

Do separatism is also considered as political act?
