ཨ"་swstི། པdm་གཉེན་gyི་མguར་ལས་དbyང་གཅིག་གིས། །
OM SWASTI PADMAI NYEN GYI GUR LE YANG CHIG GI
Om swasti! In one melody, expressed as a sacred song of the great sun, whose warm rays
cause the lotus flower to bloom,

བངགས་པའི་མེ་ཏོག་འཐོར་བའི་ཡེ་ཤེས་sku། །
NGAK PAI ME TOG T’HOR WAI YESHE KU
flowers of praise heralded [the coming of] the wisdom-body form

པdm་ལས་འruངས་ཨོ་rgyན་ཆོས་kyི་rjེ། །

མཁས་uལ་གsuམ་gyིས་བstན་པའི་rgyལ་མཚན་བsgrེངས། །
KHEY TSUL SUM GYI TAN PAI GYAL-TSEN DRENG
Raising the victory banner of teachings on the three methods of gaining mastery,

ཐོས་བསམ་sgོམ་པས་རང་rgyuད་ཞིང་ས་duལ། །
T’HO SAM GOM PEY RANG GYUD ZHING SA DUL
You have tamed the soil in the field of your mind stream, through listening,
contemplating, and meditation;

མyེན་བrʦེ་nuས་པས་བཞན་ཕན་དོན་du་གཉེར། །
KHYEN TZE NU PEY ZHEN PHAN DON DU NYER
Master who strives for others’ benefit through wisdom, compassion, and power,
པdm་རིག་rʦལ་ཞབས་ལ་གསོལ་བ་འདེབས། །
PADMA RIG TZAL ZHAB LA SOL WA DEB
Pema Rigtsal, at your feet I pray:

གང་གི་གསང་གsuམ་rdT་rjUའི་རང་ཞིན་ནི། །
GANG GI SANG SUM DORJEI RANG ZHIN NI
Although your three secrets, nature of the three vajras,

གཡོ་བའི་ཆོས་ལས་ཡོངས་su་འདས་མོད་kyང་། །
YO WAI CHHO LE YONG SU DAY MO-KYANG
have already transcended the ordinary vulnerability of conditioned phenomena,

གཞན་snང་གduལ་byའི་དོན་གཉིས་འgruབ་པའི་slད། །
ZHAN NANG DUL JAI DON NYI DRUB PAI LED
in the perceptions of others, to accomplish the two benefits of beings

གཞན་snང་གduལ་byའི་snང་ངོར་rtག་བuགས་གསོལ། །
ZHAN NANG DUL JAI NANG NGOR TAG ZHUG SOL
I supplicate you to please remain forever present in the perceptual fields of beings to be
tamed!

sིགས་འgrTའ\་ནད་kyི་གསོལ་smན་ཉག་གཅིག་pu། །
NYIK DROI NED KYI SO-MAN NYAG CHIG PU
The single life-saving cure for the disease of beings in the degenerate age,

rgyལ་བstན་sbyི་དང་byེ་brག་du་བབས་ཆོས། །
GYAL TAN CHI DANG JE-DRAG DU BAB CHHO
Is the Buddha’s Teaching, and specifically, the prescription for the times,
བduད་འཇོམས་glིང་པའི་དགོངས་གཏེར་ནམ་མཁའི་མཛdད། །

SHED DRUB T’HRIN LAY THANG MAR DAL WA NAY
As you spread far and wide the enlightened activity of higher learning and
accomplishment,

འbrེལ་ཐོགས་གduལ་byས་གཙdས་པའི་འgrོ་བ་kuན། །
DREL T’HOK DUL JEY TZO PAI DRO WA KUN
May all beings, specifically those disciplines who have forged a personal connection with
you,

sduག་བsŋལ་གsuམ་gyི་rི་muན་ལས་ཐར་བ། །
DUG NGAL SUM GYI THRI MUN LAY THAR WA
see the vision of your glorious body of awakened qualities, infinited Buddhafield of the
three kayas

རབ་འbyམས་sku་གsuམ་ཞིང་གི་ཡོན་ཏན་དཔལ། །
RAB JAM KU SUM ZHING GI YON TAN PAL
that is free from the dungeon of the three types of suffering,

འཕེལ་འgrིབ་brལ་བའི་snང་བ་མཐོང་gyuར་ཅིག། །
PHEL DRIB DRAL WAI NANG WA T’HONG GYUR CHIG
beyond rise and fall, increase and decrease!

Thus, as first requested by Padma Drubchog, who accompanied his request with a scarf
and over one hundred paper dollars from the land whose name starts with the letter of the
unborn basic space nature, and further requested by Sangye Rinpoche, the brother of this
supreme Tulku Rinpoche Pema Rigtsal, this prayer, written in five shlokas as the five
Buddha families, is offered by Thinley Norbu, one who has received the great fortune of
the blessings of the family line and Dharma lineage of Thragthung Dudjom Lingpa. This
is sent riding on a silken scarf, composed at Kunzang Gatsal, on the tenth day Guru
Rinpoche day, of the eleventh Hor-da month of the metal tiget year.
