Sal Fuerth (friend of the Schwab family??) to Rudolph: (the first part of this letter is at 724). Sal received another postcard from Rudolph's parents. They said they had not heard from Rudolph for 8 months. They have been registered with the American Consul in New York and received an affividavit from Martha's cousin (Carl Nathan). However, the costs of "passage" are 900 USD and Carl can provide only 300 USD. Max and Martha want Rudolph to help them get the rest of the money. Sal has been in Sweden since December 1939 and plans to stay until the end of the war and then immigrate to the USA. He asks Rudolph to track down someone he knows to immigrated to South Africa and pass on his regards to her.
