The story of the lord of lightning

Chapter 1 - the two worlds.

Once there were two worlds connected with one tunnel, everyone was free to live
anywhere they want, there was no head or leg, no borders it seemed. These worlds
were called Tive, a land mass surrounded by ocean. Like saying head needs to be in
cold, belly needs to be in warm upper tive was colder, and lower tive was hotter
place. There were more inhabitants in lower tive, less on upper tive.
In time population grew and these inhabitants, the gods were at constant war with
each other. Yet no one could win or secure proper victory. Because of that a lot was
in ruins, so they lived very poor. Everyone was mixing with everyone.
But in time there was a divide, some likedupper world, some liked lower. There were
many families and tribes of gods. Because of constant war everyone developed
hidden secrets and hidden talents. Everyone had secrets to hide.
And in this chaos two powerful families arose, they made near gods and tribes fear
from them. They were:
High lord of upper Tive- Odun Khan (Undur khan -Tall king, High King) and the ruler
of lowest pitthe best of men the mighty Erlik khan -these are the main heroes of our
story.
A son was born in the tent of Odun Khan. He had three eyes, a fire blonde hair.
Hearing this, suspicious Odun khan thought to himself “Three eyes? just like that
wretchedErlik?” and did question his queen “is he really my son?”. His queen
goddess of beautiful mind and body TsogZolboo said –My lord why you ask such
harsh question? Don`t you recognize your son? Indeed it was his son.Odun Khan
gave his son a name Uchar meaning “Flying”.
Chapter 2 – troublesome kid
From his birth, he tightly grabbed his right arm. For a while, he did not allow anyone
to open his grip. Actually no one could open his palm, his little fingers were
amazingly strong. After some time he revealed that he was holding a small shinny
ball and it was Khaan Jewel. This jewel shined like a sun and grew with him. Yet it
stopped growing after it reached big sheep ankle bone size. This jewel was a
horrible weapon, anyone who touched it felt horrible burning shock andsome even
burned their fingers and hands. Luckily boy never let it go and he constantly grabbed
it.
The boy possessed unseen before strength. He could grab emptiness and play with
it, molding it into random shapes and making toys for himself.Seeing this gods
nicknamed him BiligTankhaiUcharHuu ().
Uchar grew up fast and became arrogant, courageous and bold young man. Like a
saying: - at first he had wool underwear, then he wore tiger skin underwear.At first
his Khaan jewel had no name, in time he learned how to use it. Like all young boys,

he knew it was a toy and weaponto play.For other kids It was too dangerous toy to
play around, so other gods kept their kids away from him.
As far as I know, he did not developed good friends nor he developed any useful
skills.
His weapon could fly and came back to him like hunting hawk or eagle. Weapon had
unimaginable destructive power, it could vaporize anyone, anything and turn them
into soulless dust. Only Uchar could hold it and decide to vaporize or burn. Uchar
loved to hunt with it. It also transported him in blink of eyes to any distance to any
location, he always could transport himself and strike beasts from back.Because his
weapon traveled to target and came back, it was called Och-ir meaning go-come.
He emptied surrounding area of his father`s circle from strong beasts and dangerous
tribes. He even defeated several raiding hordes sent by Erlik khan of lower tive. He
became well known as Courageous Hawk Thunderbolt hero(HorsunOchirtubagatur)
in upper tive and tribes flocked to his father Odun khan to promise their allegiances.
However Odun Khan was secretly terrified of his son. To him, it seemed obvious that
one day Uchar will take his throne by fame pressure or by force. Ucharbecame too
noisy, loud, unruly, hooligan day by day.
One day Odun khan felt a presence of something dark and evil. An ancient dark
spirit Fear was standing near him. Odun khan could not see him because he was the
half blind god ofgood luck. Fear asked Odun khan:
- want to talk old friend?
Odun khan did tell his deepest fear that his son might or will strike him one day with
his thunderbolt and turn him into dust.
-This kid does not know fear and shame. I`m worried about my achievements.
Fear said:
-You mad? I can`t meet your son, he can see me. And what if he strikes me with his
thunderbolt too! Good chatting with you! Bye my old friend!. He said this and
disappeared. Odun khan felt much better, and said to himself “Indeed that all third
seeing eye!, only if I could block it, I could plant an idea to invade hell in his mind. If I
can`t teach him a lesson Erlik khan surely can. It would be interesting match to
watch”. He said to himself "I shall be the winner in this story".
So decided to crown his son and gave titleUcharkhankhuu meaning prince Uchar.
And he ordered a special crown to be made which would block his don`s third eye.
Now, with his son`s third eye blocked, when speaking to him Uchar would not pick
up Odun khan`s cruel intentions.
Actually Uchar loved his father and mother very much. Born with free spirit, he kinda
hated any job, even ruling and governing seemed annoying to him.
So they crowned him, a great feast and celebration took place. Uchar was happy.
-now you are the head among your brothers! Remember my son that we have
powerful enemy Erlik khan, it is your duty to defend the safety of upper tive. -said
Odun khan. Uchar said: -Father don`t worry someday I will strike him down.

Thus idea of attacking lower Tive was planted in his mind.
Chapter 3 - The hell ofUchar.
-the one who finds confidence in a weapon shall spend a time in Battle Hell.
Uchar Khan took nine of his brothers and went down to challenge Erlik khan. They
challenged the lords of hell one by one, emptied their armies with thunderbolt strike.
A lot came out and begged for mercy on their knees, saying they are too sons and
daughters of upper Tive, they simply chose to live here.Yet,Uchar showed no
mercy. Hetook no prisoners or allies. His brothers started to question his cruel
actions and said:
-These are mostly females here! We could take some of them, why you even strike
small ones?, these are just kids.
Uchar said something similar to the old saying which goes: “smaller the devil is more
dangerous they can be”.And I feel something unholy about these souls.
-We are here to defeat Erlik khan not bring brides or settlers. Brothers we must push
on!
Indeed the dark and invisible Fear was travelling alongside the brothers. Fear
did travel faster, front of them, and told about coming danger to the ones with
vision, who saw it, and they hid themselves under rocks. Thus fear did save
some souls.Fear caused a great darkness and panic never seen before in hell.
Uchar and his brothers went further down into deepest pit of lower Tive, and there
they found The best of men, The mighty king,Erlik khan. He had bull head, fire
blonde hair, three burning golden eyes, bone skinny body and standing erection. He
wore hell crown with skulls. His skin emitted gray blue and black color same time. He
was sitting naked in his cave like he was meditating there. For some moment they
stared to each other. Uchar said to him:
- Where are your weapons old man? come and fight me!
Erlik khan did not move. This annoyed Uchar, so he struck him with full force. And
made him into dust in front of his brothers. Brothers cheered:
-All hail Uchar the one who defeated Erlik khan!
But Uchar felt ill. His body turned into pale grey rock and crumbled down. And
from inside Erlik khan came with a goat skin bag.
Raised the goat skin bag up into air and said:
-Here is your hero! Probably, his flesh will sustain me for whole hell winter!
it is said one hell winter is so….so….so….long. Seeing and hearing this the nine
brother panicked and run away back home.
Erlik khan the master of time,his wife a master of space, they create a trap where
they kept Uchar battling monsters. It was like nightmare dream world, but it`s pain
felt so real. As a master of time, Erlik khan was also a cook, he destroyed and
consumed everything. He slowly but surely cooked Uchar in his time poison. Inside
goat skin bag Uchar fought many monsters for long time and realized that his crown
was rotten away, became a dust in time. His third eye was open and he saw what
was going on. He quickly realized that he was trapped in some time & space trap. He
started grabbing and twisting the walls of the trap. Seeing this Erlik khan felt a

presence of something cold & dark, he opened his third eye and saw Fear standing
near him and observing the goat bag too. Erlik khan asked: -Fear! What is your
business here?
Fear said: -Soon your trouble will come and release your prisoner!
and fear disappeared. Erlik khan rushed to his queen Kara UmayKhatun (Khatan)
and told her:
-I just met Fear, he told me that soon this Uchar will come out of our trap bag.
Kara Umay Queen said - Nonsense, you really trust to that old mad man?
Erlik– yes wife, I do, he always helped me. His words are mostly true, he is a prophet
and fortune teller.
Kara queen: -Well then! Lets ask the bones. And they tossed some bones, bones
told them: -Yes, your prisoner will come out from his prison one night.
Kara queen:If so we shall add more poison of rot, memory cleaning poison.
This memory cleaner poison was similar to time poison, it forces things to be
forgotten.
Erlikkhan:Dear wife, can you watch him for me?
Yes my dear -said Kara queen. And she did watch the Uchar and added those
poisons nightly. She grew tired of this duty. And summoned her countless daughters
and gave orders to watch Uchar trapped in the bag and add those poisons according
to instructions. Hell daughter they were indeed, hell daughters werelazy,they went
parting. Yet the duty fell on small hands of so called most stupid one. Hal was her
name. The goddess of misfortune, harm, misery, affliction, suffering, hardship, and
danger. Sisters called her Haltar meaning dirty and unclean. Indeed she was not
bright, even by hell standards.
Battles inside the goat bag fascinated her she felt some kind of care and love for
Uchar. Yet that merciless witch added more fighting poison, more time poison, more
rot poison and more memory cleaning poison. Increased the chaos and nightmare
dangers, pains inside the bag. Everytime Uchar came victorious she was happy and
excited. And she wanted more.
Stupid she was and added too much poisons, suddenly the battles ended for Uchar.
She added too much memory cleaning poison, it made Uchar fall into deep sleep
where even nightmares could not catch him up. Uchar felt great emptiness or he was
in empty place with his thunderbolt alone. And he spoke with it:
-We need to get out of here!
The thunderbolt said: - Yes, but I can`t see any crack or hole from here, If I see, I`ll
transport you out.
-Agreed.
Hal girl saw that Uchar wasn`t moving inside the bag, so she started to shake and hit
the bag. The bag was rotten because of too much rot poison abuse. Some rot poison
ended up on the bag`s fabric and it made it rot from outside. She accidentally poked
a hole. Raging with anger Uchar khan came out and saw a dirty, pale, skinny girl. He
opened his third eye and realized that she was the one who wastorturing him for all
this time. He said: -You sick torturer! You shall pay for it! So he threw this
thunderbolt towards Hal girl.

But the little girl caught his thunderbolt! Shocked, with disbelief Uchar asked the girl:
-Do you know Uchir? (Reason, Truth)?
She replied: - No, I like it, what is this?
Uchar khan`s mind darkened, he lost his consciousness and fell down for awhile. He
was poisoned, and weak. His skin color have changed, now his skin is black. Hal girl
quickly turned into giant bird and took him to the upper tive. And returned home.
Chapter 4– Ucharthe Kara (Black).
Uchar khan woke up in chains, some upper tive guards tied him and asked:
-who are you and what are you doing here?
Uchar khan said: -I am BiligTankhaiOchirtuUchar khan!!!
-Haha and where is your Ochir (thunderbolt)?
Uchar did smash his chains and smashed those guards. The guards were riding
heavenly beastsbut Uchar went home walking.
He noticed that he can`t even ride one of those heavenly beasts or turn into
bird, or any other useful skills. Now he was just a strong black guywith 3 eyes.
When he reached the protected circle of his father, he could not enter it, so he called
for his father. Odun khan did recognize him but did not let him insaying:
-what kind of man loses his weapons to an enemy?,you brought unimaginable
dishonor!, you are not my son!.
This time things were clear to Uchar khan and he said: - It was you! you sent me to
lower Tive! I fought your wars!
Odun khan said: -No it was your war, you wanted it so badly, go now! you are not my
son! until you bring your thunderbolt.Uchar swallowed his young & first tears and
started wondering around the upper tive.
Just after his father denounced him, when he was wondering alone in the darker and
empty corners of upper tive, he felt something dark first time, he opened his third eye
and saw Fearwaving his tentacles.
Fear asked: - what is up young one?
Ucharasked: - who are you?
Fear: -Oh I am an old friend of your father, I just saw what happened there, your
father being cruel. Visit my circle. AndI`ll give you something to drink!.
So they went into more darker corner of upper tive. There was a big black (shaman
drum) circle shapedbuilding with many doors and many locks. Inside, there were
many chests with many locks.
Uchar: -You live alone?
Fear: -Yes, alone is always better!
Fear gave a black liquid in a tiny wooden cup
Uchar: -what is it? and why so small cup?

Fear: -I fear to spill it, it is called Kara Darsan (Dark wine, nightmare), drink it.
Indeed it had the same effect like alcohol for humans. They got drunk. When Fear
drunk his dark wine, he grew bigger and monstrous.
-lets wrestle! said Fear and they wrestled, but Fear failed.
Fear: -lets drink more! And they drunk more.
Fear: -lets wrestle! And they wrestled, but Fear failed again and again.
Frustrated Fear cried and said -why don`t you miss a step, why don`t you make a
tiny bit of mistake? Why don`t you lose just one time?
Ucharsaid: -Hey old man, you never make moves, I wait and wait, then I get bored
and throw you. You never make first moves. What is wrong with you?
Drunk Fear(opened his secret): -There is nothing wrong with me! Do you know who
am I?!. I am Fear, I am the Zetiger (devil, trouble), I am the one who is making
everyone of you quarrel! I`m the one who wrapped you all in my dark nets….etc
Then he realized his mistake and was silent for a moment and said: Dear son Uchar
I wish to be your adopted father, I wish to live in a place where I (Fear) was
something real, I wish I was respected.New world!, Not upper tive not lower tive. Do
you know how lowertive was discovered? When I was born, there was nothing here,
total darkness, I learned to live as one with the darkness, then I heard some noise, I
saw that bull headed Erlikbanging on ground saying –“there is something down
there” and we jumped together. We landed on lower tive where he met that black
woman. In upper and lower tives, I have seen all births, I am like invisible, caring
father to everyone, I was there with you all, I saw all, fear of all new discovery, fear of
new born, fear of first touch of lovers…
Uchar wanted to drink more & more. Then Fear himself started to feel something
dark. His head got dizzy from the dark wine, everything seemed doubled and he
spoke with his double:
-Hey get rid of him! He is about to drink all our wine! So fear said to Uchar khan
-I think it is time for me to leave!
Uchar said: - Leave? I`m the guest, you want me to leave?
- No problem!Said Fear and packed his tent in a blink of an eye and disappeared.
After drinking with Fear, Uchar slept for long time. When he woke uphe was inside a
green forest and some green plantswere growing on him, these plants were
actually helping him to remove poisons of rot from his body. So the green man
Ucharmade himself a strong club and wooden mask. He traveled around the
corners of upper tive, he saw a lot abuse, so he started freeing any abused. He
noticed that because of his dark appearance souls of upper tive did not help him.
Since he was a black guy with three eyes and a club, slaves from lower tive were
kinds towards him. And they saw him just like their Lord Erlikkhan and gave him Erlik
khan`s nickname Kara Khan meaning Dark Lord. So they enthusiastically followed

him.Once he freed KockTolbots (Blue Butts) slaves, they are
theancestorsspirits of Mongols.
Thus he managed to collect followers and man power. Hard to say, if he did his
deedsas act of kindnessor was it a cold calculation. Soon he possessed an army of
33 tribes. These tribes were mix of upper & lower.Uchar as a black man did a lot of
good deeds and learned a lot. It is impossible to mention all of them here.
Once he asked his men:
-what you men want? They replied:-Lets remove blind old fool Odunand take better
part of this upper tive as ours! This idea wasn`t the thing Uchar desired most. So he
had to reveal himself as son of Odun khan. Men said:
-your father abused us for long time. How can we trust you?
Uchar: - I feel you, now you are all free to leave!
And some of them left. But quickly returned back and they brought a news that
lower tive is not a good place anymore.It is hell now. And their brothers were
captured and being tortured there with no reason.
The tribes had a hurultai (gathering) and concluded: - We are most safe with you, we
are agree to follow you! We make you our Lord!
Uchar: - So listen! I want to invade lower Tive and take my Thunderbolt! This is my
purpose. I know my thunderbolt! It can`t harm me. If we succeed, you all shall be
rewarded. I promise.
Some of them regretted saying "we will follow you", but they had to followhim and
face Erlik khan.
Before moving out Uchar felt the ancient dark thing again, Fear has come:
-Greetings Uchar my son, good to see you after so-long.
-Tell me old man! What shall I do? What if I fail? I fear my father will not help me.
Fear said: -Yes, I know your father! He will never help you.
Uchar: -I don`t trust you!
Fear said: -You are the one with all seeing eye, I didn`t lie.
So Uchar went to his father Odun khan. He took all his army.
Uchar: -Father!!! I want to invade hell and get my thunderbolt, help me!
Odun khan`s queen TsogZolboo advised:
-This is the chance to fix relationship with your powerful son!
Odun khan: -I have many sons I don`t care about him!
Queen Zolboo said: - Maybe, this is the chance to show who is boss to his men, just
go and look at them!.

Odun khan who wants to win in this story, stood up and said:
-Son you are the heart & courage of your army! I shall bless,not you but your army
with nine blessings. And he blessed his army.
Odun khan: -if you accomplish your mission you are all welcome in my circle! With
such blessings they marched into hell.
Chapter 5 -
Meanwhile in lower Tive, Erlik khan was angry to lose his prisoner and asked:
-Who did it? Who allowed Uchar khan to escape? His daughters pointed to Hal.
Hal girl was summoned and questioned, but she pulled out the thunderbolt and
turned into fire bird. Erlik khan said: - Good daughter of mine! I was angry, don`t take
my words seriously, I am sorry! Can I told your thunderbolt?
She put it on his palms, but he could not hold it, it pulled him down and his hand was
stuck on ground, it seemed so painful to Erlik khan, he screamed: -Please! dear
daughter take it back!
Hal girl was laughing (after all she is a goddess of suffering) for a while, until strong
scream socked the ground said
-That is enough!!!
it was mother Kara Umay Queen!. Hal girl quickly took her thunderbolt back. Erlik
khan declared Hal girl to be his favorite daughter. But things did not go well, she was
annoying and stupid goddess of suffering made lower Tive to suffer. You mortals
don`t need to know all the small details, everyone hated her, for example: once a
little devil said: -I would spit on her face! How she heard that I don`t know, must be
thunderbolt`s power. The devil`s face was burned immediately. Now devils
whispered when they talked to each other. She have silenced ever noisy hell, an
impressive tyranniess. Even Erlik khan was afraid to discuss this problem, her cruel
behavior with his queen. Kara Umay queen tolerated and even approved her
behavior because she was a goddess of black jealous love.
She have discovered creative power of thunderbolt. For her mother, Kara
Umay queen she have created a dark spear which controls others. For his
father, Erlik khan she have crafted a mighty hammer equal only to thunderbolt.
Which can turn souls into soulless dust. And she also created all seeing
mirror, so they her parents could observe their realm.
Her parents granted her a title Garid(Phoenix) meaning Arm-power. Now she is
TamiinErkhEmGarid Hal Ohin = Hell`s dear beloved arm-powerful Hal daughter.
One night Erlik khan asked his mirror to show what Odun khan is seeing right
now. But the mirror replied:
-I can`t show what Odun khan seeing right now.
-Why?

-I am only designed to see what souls of lower tive are seeing. I don`t show
what souls of upper tive seeing.
Hearing this Erlik khan said to himself “Stupid daughter! This mirror is not
perfect! I shall ask her to make new one. This time truly all seeing one! Damn I
wonder if my hammer has any flaws?” But there was no time for it. News
came, lower tive is invaded by an army from upper tive.
He asked his all seeing mirror: -Who is attacking?
-Kara Khan!Replied the mirror.
-What? I am the Kara Khan! Who is this Kara Khan? Explain more!
-Uchar khan, now he is called Kara Khan by his men!
-Can you show him?
The mirror could show what Uchar Khan`s followers were seeing. Because they
were the souls from lower Tive.
Hell`s defenses crumbled. It wasn`t good at first place, it was weak after first attack
of Uchar khan. Besides hell forces were weak and cowardly in nature.
Angry bull headed Erlik khan said: -I`m surrounded by cowards and weaklings! Dear
wife, do we have any plans to stop him?
Kara Umay queen said -This time we don`t have any, but I have prepared “a woman
weapon”.
Erlik khan: Woman weapon? Ah yes...indeed, our daughter shall make him into dust.
So they summoned Hal girl, and any army there was.
So they waited Uchar khan on open flat area.
Two armies are met. Erlik khan asked:
-What do you want Uchar Khan?
Uchar: - I wan`t my thunderbolt back and I want to end you!
Erlik khan: -Ha haha! Can you? First you need to defeat my beloved daughter!
And burning bird came forward.
Garid said: - Lets wrestle! and they wrestled. She used all her thirteen skills yet she
failed. Uchar khan said: -Enough games! Will you give my thunderbolt back?
She jumped back and said: -Catch! She shoot him with thunderbolt. Uchar khan
captured it very easy. His thunderbolt in his hand, he turned from black to dark blue,
his power & beauty restored.
Uchar khan strikedGaridwith thunderbolt but Garid also catched it. it seemed this
thunderbolt match will never end. So everyone prepared a comfortable seats and
watched the match, cheered and clapped their hands. But in time fenix started to
avoid & dodge it, it seemed she was getting weaker, and she captured the
thunderbolt in mid turning back point when it is slowest. Then it became clear that

the fenix will lose soon. Because of thunderbolt traveling near and causing damage
to hell`s audience, hell`s audience moved to safer opposite side of arena. Some
devils said “Witch is doing it deliberately so that we may suffer! Lets move!” Now it
seemed everyone was cheering for Uchar khan. Then Erlik khan said:
-My queen we also should move and find safer seats! And they moved to other side
of arena. When Erlik khan came everyone moved and left plenty of seats for him. But
there was one old man was still sitting.
-Move old man! saidErlik khan.
Old man said: - There are plenty of seats around me! Great one show me some
mercy, I am very old.
Erlik khan took his skull mace and said: - are you lost your mind? Old man! No one is
older than me! I can end you here!. But he was stopped by his queen. Kara Queen
said: -Dear Husband why you quarrel?, we can sit near him!
Erlik khan: -But his seat is the best one around here!
Kara quean: -who cares!, any place is best when you are near me, we still can enjoy
some discomfort together! Please lose your anger and focus!.
So they sat near that old man. I should say that old man was an old devil creature
not human. The match was interesting and important. But Erlik khan kept watching
towards that old devil with an edge of his eye, he grew so suspicious that he opened
his third eye and saw the old man. it was Odun khan in disguise.
Erlik khan said: -Hey wife! Look old bastard is here!
Erlik khan: -Hey Odun khan! Are you here helping your son? Are you cheating here?
Odun khan said: -Not at all!, You can see it all, look in time, if I ever helped my son.
Erlik khan looked into time and said: - You did bless his army!.
Odun khan: -Yes I did.
Erlik khan said: -Oh shit, damn it. Wife look, look at your daughter!!!
Odun khan: -something wrong?
Erlik khan said: -Damn it! Damn it!
Erlik khan was silent for a moment and said: -I see my daughter loves your son!
Odun khan –Hahaha, Wonderful!
Finally, Uchar did hit his target and made the Fenix into pile of ashes.
Uchar khan pointed to Erlik khan and said:
-Now you!!!
Erlik khan took his hammer and said to his queen:

-I shall end this or not. I just tried to see the future all I see is big light. Dear wife If I
am done / gone, save yourself!
When he stood up Kara Umaykhatun said: -The woman weapon!
Erlik khan: -What?
Kara queen: -The woman weapon is here!
Erlik khan: -I don`t understand you!
Then a huge light came from Sky and goddess TsogZolboo landed near the ashes.
She put few branches of Mother tree and with her powers of beautiful body & mind
created a fire. From that fire and ashes came Hal girl, now she is blinding beautiful.
Uchar khan said: -Mother what are you doing?
Queen Zolboo said: -She has a secret to tell! We all leave you alone.
Erlik khan and Odun khan looked at each other and said:
-Wife what the fuck???
Kara Umay queen said: - Husband we also need to leave! Now!
Queen Zolboo also took Odun Khan and left, and everyone was ordered to leave.
Uchar khan and Hal goddess were alone, and she opened to him, it was love.[]

Chapter
Two queens secretly met each other and spoke about it.
Hal goddess shared her discovery on the creative power of thunderbolt, how
she turned some into mirror, hammer and spear and lot more.
Odun khan came home full of anger and questioned his queen`s actions:
