Susah Sinyal is one of Indonesia movie directed by Ernest Prakasa and written by

him and his wife. The movie casts Adinia Wirasti, Aurara Ribero, Ernest Prakasa,Refal Hadi
and Valerie Thomas as the main leads.Susah Sinyal is one of successful-movie from Ernest
Prakasa who greatly produces several movie likes Cek Toko Sebelah, Stip & Pensil, and
Milly & Mamet. It was released at theaters on 21 December 2017. The movie takes the
theme of family conflict and comedy.

The movie tells about a woman named Ellen (Adinia Wirasti), who is a very
successful lawyer, who rarely can spend time for her only child, Kiara (Aurora Ribero), who
spends more her time on social media. [1]

They live with Agatha (Niniek L. Karim), Ellen's mother who loved Kiara. Kiara who is very
close to her grandma since childhood shocked when Agatha died of a heart attack. An
advice from a psychologist, Ellen is advised to take Kiara on vacation, spend her quality
time.

Then they go to Sumba, spend every moments together. After their vacation, Kiara
come home with more cheerful heart. But in Jakarta, Ellen is immediately faced with a big
problem in her office. Her big project with Iwan (Ernest Prakasa) is in danger of falling apart.
And finally because it was busy, Ellen could not keep her promise to Kiara, to watch her
appear in a high school talent show competition, which Kiara had prepared for a long time.
Kara was finally very angry and she decided to go to Sumba alone, the place where she can
feel a glimmer of happiness, one last time.
Judgement

This movie contains a lot of messages. The movie describes that people now always
focus on their gadget and never have much time for their family.The movie realizes us how
important our family. Taking place on Sumba, this movie offers beautiful view and white-sand
beach. The cast successfully plays the role especially Aurara Ribero and Adinia Wirast
.Moreover, Ernest gives several jokes which make the viewers laugh out load.

In this movie,Ernest fails to end this movie with great ending. He should produce a
more emotional drama of mother and daughter relations, considering this relationship is
very close to our life. In Susah Sinyal, Ernest seems to give more comedy than the main
story of drama for mother and child.Even though, this movie unsuccessfully brings the
audience to the climax and it makes that movie very boring and flat.

Overall,Susah Sinyal is one of great family movie. The movie is suitable for everyone
especially who is busy working and has little time for family. With wonderful view of
Sumba,the movie amuses the viewers.The soundtrack from The Overtunes titled “Bukan
Sekedar Kata” and “By My Side” from Rendy Pandugo make the movie deeply touching the
viewrs.One word for this movie is worthy.
