Integrity in the Criminal Justice Arena

As I reflect after reading the discussion board question, I have come to the conclusion
that what motivates the faith of a Christian is What Would Jesus Do (W.W.J.D.). I have come to
understand that Jesus would not want his children to be writing falsely or in the wrong way,
especially when such writing is sin. Romans 13:19-10 provides that "One who loves his
neighbour will do good, not harm. Stealing violates the law of love because it harms our
neighbour." This scripture is trying to speak to me in many instances. For one, a writer exerts
hard work on their article. As such, it is wrong for a person to plagiarize their work. No writer
would want that their work be copied. Hence, as God's children, it is vital that we abide with the
laws, rules, and regulations when it comes to stealing. In writing, it is important that the writer
pays close attention to detail. For example, in making police reports, it is best that the writer is
able to follow the reader use conflict because considerably, there are several common issues
when it comes to criminal investigations (Biggs, 2012). This instance can motivate a person to
write excellently. Also, it is vital that the write would take his time to write, and if in case he sees
a mistake, he fixes it and he does not stress over it. Above all, it is best that writers would not
rely on their opinion, but on actual facts, most especially reports involving criminal
investigations.
