การศึกษาครัง้ นี ้มีวตั ถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาภาวะสุขภาพของผู้สงู อายุไทยและความสามารถ

ในการทานายภาวะสุขภาพของผู้สงู อายุไทย ด้ วยตัวแปรคุณลักษณะส่วนบุคคล การสนับสนุนทาง
สังคมและการดูแลสุขภาพ โดยใช้ ข้อมูลทุติยภูมิจากการสารวจประชากรผู้สูงอายุ ประจาปี พ.ศ.
2554 ของสานักงานสถิติแห่งชาติ จานวนตัวอย่างทังสิ ้ ้น 16,058 คน ผลการศึกษาพบว่าภาวะ
สุขภาพของผู้สูงอายุไทยอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง ปั จจัยด้ านคุณลักษณะส่วนบุคคล การสนับสนุน
ทางสังคมและการดูแลสุขภาพของผู้สูงอายุไทยร่ วมกันทานายภาวะสุขภาพของผู้สูงอายุไทยได้
ดีกว่าตัวแปรอิสระเพียงด้ านใดด้ านหนึ่ง ตัว แปรที่สาคัญที่สุด คือ รายได้ โดยพบว่าการที่ผ้ สู งู อายุ
ไทยมีรายได้ เฉลี่ยต่อปี ตังแต่
้ 50,000 บาทขึ ้นไป สามารถทานายภาวะสุขภาพผู้สงู อายุไทยได้ มาก
ที่สุด โดยมีค่าสัมประสิทธิ์ ถดถอยมาตรฐาน (β) เท่ากับ .172 รองลงมาคือการดูแลสุขภาพของ
ผู้สูงอายุไทย โดยมีค่าสัมประสิทธิ์ ถดถอยมาตรฐาน (β) เท่ากับ .156 การศึกษานี ้เสนอแนะว่า
ภาครัฐควรที่จะคงไว้ ซงึ่ นโยบายที่เกี่ยวข้ องกับสวัสดิการของผู้สงู อายุ โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งเบี ้ยยังชีพ
ผู้สูง อายุและปรับปรุ ง ช่องทางการเข้ าถึง สิทธิ ดงั กล่าวให้ ครอบคลุม และทั่วถึง รวมทัง้ ส่ง เสริ ม
พฤติกรรมการดูแลสุขภาพของผู้สงู อายุ โดยเน้ นให้ ครอบครัวเข้ ามีสว่ นร่วม
 ABSTRACT

Title of Thesis Health Care and Health Status of Thai Aging

This research aims to study health status of Thai aging and to investigate the
predictive ability of demographic characteristics, social support and health care for their
health by using a secondary data of Thai aging Survey in 2011 from the National
Statistics Office with 16,058 samples. The study found that health status of Thai aging
was moderate. The combination of demographic characteristics, social support and
health care could better predict their health status rather than only a single independent
variable. It was also found that the important variable was income. Thai aging who
have earned an average annual income of 50,000 baht were the group that can forecast
the health status the most (β = 0.172), followed by the health care (β = 0.156). This
study suggests that the government should maintains the welfare policy for Thai aging
especially subsistence allowance and improve channels to access the rights thoroughly,
as well as to promote health care behavior of the Thai aging with an emphasis on family
participation.
