Step 1

Draw a circle and divide it into 24 equal parts

Make the star pattern as shown.

Step 3

Make circles with centres marked with black dots touching the triangles as shown.
Step 4

With the same radius make a circle in the centre.

Divide these corner circles into 8 equal parts. Make sure extra lines from central circle do not enter
the corner circles and extra lines from the corner circles do not enter the central circle. Otherwise
you will have a big mess of lines.

Make the squares and half squares as indicated.

Step 7

Make dodecagon in the centre and in the corner circles as well.

Step 8

Delete the construction lines and you are left with the base pattern on which you will make the final
design.
Step 9

Make two lines in the central circle as shown to get a point of intersection.
Step 10

Draw a circle passing through this point.

Step 11

With the same radius draw 6 corner circles.

Step 12

Join the points in the central circle as shown and extend them in the triangle.
Step 13

Extend these lines inside the square and the irregular hexagon and you have the final pattern.
Step 14

Delete the base pattern and you have the final pattern.
Step 15

By erasing the parts to the left and right of the black line you can get a new pattern.
