I would like to speech about tourism that will focus on characteristic of tourism.
Travel away from a person`s usual place of residence for a period longer than twenty four hours,
primarily for pleasure or recreation, and frequently to multiple destination.

Tourism statistics, however, usually include people traveling for business or health or to visit to
friend and relatives. The person traveling is a tourist.

The characteristic of tourism

1. Tourism is an invisible export industry. There is no tangible product which is supplied

from one places to another, but rather services that the consumer collects personally at
the point of production.
2. Tourism is a highly unstable export, subject to chance in external influences, changes in
international currency exchange rates, energy crises, and internal social unrest.
3. The tourism industry is more sensitive to political arrangements than any other category
of international trade. Because the human is the mobile element in tourism, she needs to
be safeguarded from danger through the duration of her journal.
4. Motivation for tourism is complex and various greatly among tourists. Tourist destination
must assess which segment of the tourist market they are in position to satisfy. Some
tourist markets include, beach holidays, business travelers, historical and cultural tours,
and adventure tours.
