School Counseling Program Mission Statement
The North-Grand High School Counseling Department is committed to creating a safe and supportive

students have intrinsic value and potential to become successful, lifelong learners who will thrive in
college, career, and life due to the academic, personal/social, and post-secondary skills they gain at
North-Grand High School. The School Counseling program achieves this through continual collaboration
with school staff, administrators, parents, and community partners to implement preventative,
developmentally-appropriate, data-driven interventions and supports to provide ALL students with
equitable access to services that meet their individual needs and prepare them for a healthy and
successful life beyond high school.
