The utilization of Computer Aided Assessment (CAA) in schools has
become relevant among educators with the widespread availability of
computers to aid teachers in conducting classroom assessments. While many past studies have been carried out to gauge the acceptability of CAA in determining students’ attitude, this research seeks to unravel factors that would contribute to the successful implementation of CAA in classroom. The study is participated by senior high school students (Grade 11 and 12) of Tagum National Trade School. In conducting the study, the non-experimental design using correlational technique is employed fitting to describe the relationship between students’ acceptability of CAA and students’ attitude towards the Empowerment Technology subject. The study showed positive outcomes in terms of increased students’ understanding due to their high acceptability and positive attitude feedbacks after they had used the computer aided assessment. A significant difference was found in the students’ sex. Implications suggest to broaden the administration of the implementation including other subjects and considering an increase and more varied population in terms of track and specialization of the students.
