The Interview (Script)

In this file, you have to create the script or dialogue for your “job interview”. Example:
one member of the group (the employer) asks questions to one candidate for the job
(candidate 1), he asks the same questions to the other candidate (candidate 2) at the
same time. In parentheses write the location. Example:

(In the office)

The employer: are you carlos utrera and maria elsa?
Candidate 1: yes, sr
Candidate 2: sure nice to meet you (un gusto en conocerte).
The employer: ok, please follow me and take a sit (ok por favor siganme y tomen
haciento)
The employer: Welcome to “Control Higiene”, my name is George Polania. it’s a pleasure
to have you here, I’ll make you some questions to both of you and at the end I’ll decide
who will get the job.

The employer: Lets get start, first question

The employer: how do you see yourself in two years from now? ¿Cómo te ves dentro de
dos años?
Candidate 1: Trabajando en esta gran compañía, comprometida y escalando a nivel
profesional. I work at this big company, commited and scailing to a profesional level.
Candidate 2: Laborando con ustedes, trabajado en equipo, logrando los objetivos
marcados por la compañía. I work with you, with team work, achieving the objectives
set by the company.
The employer: tell me about yourself? ¿Cuéntame sobre ti?
Candidate 1: Me considero una persona líder, comprometida y con muchas
aspiraciones en especial con mi profesión con administradora en salud
ocupacional. I consider myself as a lider, commited and with a lo of aspirations, specially
in my fiel that is health and safety.
Candidate 2: Soy una persona comprometida con el trabajo, e laborado en varias
empresa del sector de la Salud Ocupacional, tengo los conocimientos necesarios para
desarrollar el SGSST de esta empresa y me gustaría mucho poder hacer parte de su
equipo de profesionales. I’m a persona commited with my work, i’ve worked with
various companies with health and safety. I have the necessary knwoledge to
developed the SGTSST in this company and i’d like ver much to be parte of your
team.
The employer: what are your strengths if we are talking about health in safety?
(¿Cuáles son sus puntos fuertes si estamos hablando de salud en seguridad?)
Candidate 1: Capacidad de trabajar en equipo, y cumplir órdenes. Capable of working
in a team and follow orders.
Candidate 2: Experiencia y capacidad de laborar en equipos multidisciplinarios.
Experience and capacita of working with in multidisiplinary teams.
The employer: Why do you think you deserve this job? (¿Por qué crees que mereces
este trabajo?)
Candidate 1: Me considero con capacidad y con el conocimiento para ejercer este
cargo. I consider I have the ability and knwoledge to be parte of your team.
Candidate 2: Porque soy una persona competente y estoy seguro que puedo aportar con
mi experiencia y conocimiento a un buen diseño y aplicación del SGSST de su empresa,
además, adicionalmente puedo medir nuestro avance y desempeño mediante auditorías
internas ya que estoy certificado como auditor internos la norma de Salud Ocupacional.
Because im an able person and im sure that I can bring with my knowledge and
experience, I can design and aplícate the ssgsst of your como any, also besides that I can
messure our advance.
The employer: how many hours are you available to work? Full time or half time?
(¿Cuántas horas estás disponible para trabajar? ¿Tiempo completo o medio tiempo?)
Candidate 1: Tiempo completo, con dedicación y compromiso. full time, with
dedication and compromise.
Candidate 2: Por supuesto que tiempo completo ya que me gusta comprometerme en un
100% en las actividades en la que participó. Full time, I like to be 100% commited in the
activities i’m a parte of.

The employer: What are you salary expectations? (Cuáles son tus expectativas
salariales?)
Candidate 1: El que esté acorde al cargo, y con seguridad será bien remunerado.
Wichever you have in mind, i’m sure it’ll be well remunerated.
Candidate 2: Estoy seguro que esta empresa tiene un escalafón de salarios de acuerdo a
los conocimientos y experiencias de cada empleado, por lo que no tendría inconveniente
de seguir el nivel que me corresponde.
Im sure this company has fair salaries acording to the knwoledge and experience.
The employer: and to finish this interview the last question, what are your hobbies ?
(Y para terminar esta entrevista la última pregunta, ¿cuáles son tus hobbies?)
Candidato 1: Me encanta hacer obras sociales, compartir con mi familia. I love social
work and spending time with my family
Candidato 2: En mi tiempo libre me gusta juagar golf y hacer ejercicio al aire libre en
compañía de mis hijos y esposa. I like to play golf and do exercise with my kids and wife.
