The Interview (Script)

In this file, you have to create the script or dialogue for your “job interview”.
Example: one member of the group (the employer) asks questions to one
candidate for the job (candidate 1), he asks the same questions to the other
candidate (candidate 2) at the same time. In parentheses write the location.
Example:

(In the office)

The employer: Welcome to “RMA Company”, it’s a pleasure to have you here, I’ll
make you some questions to both of you and at the end I’ll decide who will get the
job.

Now, make your script or dialogue. The text must contain 200 words at least.
Use simple present in most of the dialogue. Do not add pictures.

Candidate 1: I am 26 years old.

The employer: Tell me about yourself.

Candidate 1:My name is Lizeth Gómez, I'm 26 years old, I’m a public accountant
graduated from the university Cooperativa de Colombia, I live in Bogotá with my
parents.
Candidate 2: My name is Arixaly Avendaño Valero, I am thirty years old, I’m a
public accountant graduated from the university Minuto de Dios, I am from Bogotá
and I live with my mother.

The employer: How do people describe yourself?

Candidate 1: Responsable , focused on my business ,good team leader and
always a person who transmit a good energy for my colleagues.
Candidate 2:highly organized ,passionate about my work ,natural team leader and
also friendly .

The employer: How did you learn about the opening?

Candidate 1: On the Internet, LinkedIn is a social community oriented to
companies, businesses and employment.
Candidate 2: I found the ad online in a jobs page

The employer: What do you like to do in your spare time?

Candidate 1: I enjoy playing tennis, love reading, doing crossword puzzles, and
also studying languages.
Candidate 2: I like to cook, go to the movies with my family and go for a walk on
Sundays.

The employer: Where do you see yourself in five years?

Candidate 1: In five years ,I would like to be seen as someone with extensive
experience in the sector and I know that this is something that I will have the
opportunity to do here.
Candidate 2: I have been lucky enough to work with some incredible managers, so
developing myself as a great manager is something that excites me a lot.

The employer: What's your dream job?

Candidate 1: I love working with accounts and also working closely with an
accounting team. The topic of analysis is my favorite.
Candidate 2: The work of my dreams is a job that allows me to be analytical ,
creative, and to collaborate with people who are enthusiastic about their work.

The employer: Why are you interested in this job?

Candidate 1: I have experience in the position and I can meet the objectives of the
company.
Candidate 2: I have the ability of verbal and written communication with my
colleagues and I can apply my knowledge learned in this company

The employer: What do you think of working in a group?

Candidate 1:I enjoy working in a team environment, and I get along well with
people.
Candidate 2:I believe that I have a lot to contribute to a team environment, and am
comfortable in both leadership and player roles.

The employer: How Do you handle stress?

Candidate 1: I remove myself from the situation, take time to look at it from all
angles, and then attack whatever is causing me stress in the most efficient way.
Candidate 2: In stressful situations, I stop for a moment to analyze the origin and
look for the solution.

FEEDBACK:
Se evidencia comprensión general de la actividad.
No hay introducción ni cierre de la entrevista. Hay algunos errores de tercera
persona y pronombres, así como el uso de pasado y otras estructuras más
elaboradas en lugar del presente simple que era lo pedido. Me sorprende el
uso de estructuras gramaticales tan complejas en algunas respuestas, para el
nivel. Si pueden producir estas oraciones y usar este vocabulario los voy a
referir al club de conversación.

Asegúrense que el guión les da para lograr los tres minutos mínimos que debe
durar el video de la entrevista.

En el foro se respondieron las preguntas asignadas pero los aportes al script

solo los hace uno de los integrantes del grupo.
