Bach’s Partita No.

2 in C minor, BWV 826

Johann Sebastian Bach, known to all as the greatest composer, was a German Baroque
composer. He was better known as an organist and a violinist during his lifetime, rather than
a composer as we now think of him. His style is characterized by energetic and driving
rhythm and his fluency in contrapuntal improvisation, consisting of inventive and unique
melodies.
