independent in 1984,
internal conflicts, also
known as a civil war started
appearing, because the
country was not use to be
autonome.
All these years, thousands of
people are leaving the The Rohingya people are a Muslim minority without
country to avoid conflicts. a homeland, which is considered by the UN as the
most persecuted people in the world, since it has
deprived one of the most basic human rights,
citizenship.
They have been living in Myanmar, a mostly Buddhist
country of Southeast Asia, for centuries.
Today they are about 1.3 million, living in the
Rakhine province, in camps, under awful conditions.
