3. SCOPE OF STUDY:
By analyzing this information, the company would be able to better design schemes &
services & target right prospects’ needs & wants, More people will get aware about
Vodafone that will increase profit level of Vodafone, This study helps to identify the
behavior of consumer when there are no offers & schemes from Vodafone, In strategic
planning, it is important for managers to translate the overall strategy into goals and
objectives. Goals are designed to inspire action and focus attention on specific desired
outcomes, This report discusses three major issues of Vodafone including
environmental evaluation, marketing strategies and recommendations. Referring to the
SWOT analysis, there are several important insights, such as fierce competition, high
penetration rate, low differentiation and innovation. After defining marketing
objectives, marketing mix will be used for explaining marketing strategies of Vodafone.

HISTORY OF TELECOMMUNICATION:
The history of telecommunication began with the use of smoke signals & drums in
Africa the America & parts of Asia.
HISTORY OF VODAFONE:
Vodafone is the world's leading international mobile communications company.
Currently it has operations in 25 countries across 5 continents and 40 partner networks
with over 260 million customers worldwide.

Research methodology is considered as the nerve of the project. Without a proper well-
organized research plan, it is impossible to complete the project and reach to any conclusion.
The project was based on the survey plan. The main objective of survey was to collect
appropriate data, which work as a base for drawing conclusion and getting result.
RESEARCH DESIGN
Descriptive Research:
The type of research adopted for study is Descriptive. Descriptive studies are undertaken in
many circumstances when the researches is interested to know the characteristic of certain
group such as age, sex, education level, occupation or income. The objective of such study is
to answer the “who, what, when, where and how” of the subject under investigation. There is a
general feeling that descriptive studies are factual, very simple and well structured.
7. SIGNIFICANCE OF STUDY
This study will focus on the development of the services by Vodafone, The study will
emphasize on the customer preference as to why they switch over to Vodafone, the
customers and other stakeholders of Vodafone by highlighting the benefits of the
products and services presented by the company, the study will emphasize on the
promotion strategies used by Vodafone over other service providers
8. LITRATURE REVIEW
Customer satisfaction, a business term, is a measure of how products and services
supplied by a company meet or surpass customer expectation. It is seen as a key
performance indicator within business and is part of the four perspectives of a Balanced
Scorecard.
Lisbon, 25 August 2018 - Vodafone obtained the highest customer satisfaction index in
the telecommunications sector in 2017, according to annual results published by
Anacom. Vodafone achieved a satisfaction index of 74.4 (on a scale of 0 to 100), the
highest score of all the companies in the Portuguese telecommunications market and
considerably above the sector average of 67.6.
In the report published by Anacom, Vodafone is ranked in first place in all the indicators
included in the survey: Satisfaction with the operator, Image that customers have of the
operator, Customer Expectations, Perceived Quality of the operator's network and
services, Perceived Value for Money, Complaints received and their handling, and
Loyalty of customers to their operator.

original sources for specific purpose
Secondary data:- the data which is collected through indirect sources i.e internet
