!

J& J: WELCOME TO THE LANANPIN NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL JUNIOR-SENIOR PROMENADE 2019!

Jhey: The much-awaited social gathering of the junior and senior students of our school as they are
poised to take-off to the world of fashion, fad &craze!

John: Talking about fashion, fad and craze…. Are you familiar with Masquerade Ball Ma’am Jhey Anne?

Jhey: Well, sir John, I guess people go to the party wearing a mask! (Laughs) Kidding aside, please
enlighten me and the audience about Masquerade Ball Sir John.

John: Well, you are not entirely wrong. People really go to the ball wearing a mask. (Laughs) But aside
from that, Masquerade balls were a feature of the Carnival season in the 15th century, and involved
increasingly elaborate allegorical Royal Entries, pageants, and triumphal processions celebrating
marriages and other dynastic events of late medieval court life.

Jhey: Wow. That is just so grand!

John: Yes, it indeed is! And tonight….to suffice the call of the occasion…..this year’s JS Prom is geared
towards the Masquerade Ball as our thematic concept.

Jhey: And without further ado…to kick the ball rolling, let’s paint the townred and roll out the red carpet
for the grand entrance of juniors and seniors as they take a walk of fame!

G. Candle Lighting ceremony

Jhey: Thank you so much Grade 9 students for that amazing performance. Sir John, I have a question.
What do you think is the essence of this Junior- Senior Promenade?

John: Well, in my own angle of vision, every JS Prom signifies the celebration of awards and
achievements of our senior students and these legacies will be handed over to the deserving and
trustworthy inheritors- the Junior students!

Jhey: Very good! Aside from that all the scholastic emblems held by seniors for one school year should
be bequeathed to their honourable recipients – those symbols of academic victories, co-curricular
triumphs, and team building upheavals.

John: At this juncture, let us move on to the Candle Lighting ceremony to be led by Freddierick Fabia,
the Student Supreme Government president for the Lighting of the Cherian Urn. The Lighting of the
Cherian Urn symbolizes hope and enlightenment.

Jhey: Freddierick will light the candles of our Juniors and Seniors to be represented by arrianne Mendez,
Jovelyn Villacera, Mary Rose Mequin and Amina Mae Osorio T The flame atopof every paraffin
elucidates the road to success of the outgoing seniors in the next chapter of their academic career. Let’s
give them a warm of applause.

John: Thank you so much ladies . Now, we will proceed to the Mantle of Responsibility . And to make it
happen , may we hand in the microphone to the predecessor and successor of LAnanpin National High
School by example, SSG president Freddierick Fabia . Let us give him a warm of applause.
