First Sunday of Lent
GREETINGS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS
PRELUDE
*CALL TO WORSHIP, from Psalm 91
Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High
Will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress,
My God, in whom I trust.”
Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare
And from the deadly pestilence.
God will cover you in his feathers,
And under his wings you will find refuge;
His faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.
You will not fear the terror by night,
Nor the arrow that flies by day.

sign-up sheet to volunteer to read one or more Sundays,
March 3 – Easter Sunday, April 21

LENT DEVOTIONALS AVAILABLE

This year’s Lent devotionals, “New World Coming”, are
available on the foyer table. Feel free to take one and follow
the readings through this season of Lent, which begins
March 10
If you would like to contribute to the cost of the devotional,
they are $3.50 each. Please do not let this stop you from
taking one.

COFFEE TIME AFTER CHURCH

Please sign up on the sheet on the foyer table if you would
be willing to bring cookies and serve coffee and lemonade
on an upcoming Sunday.

GIVING WHEN NOT IN CHURCH

Some Sundays, we are not at church. Church may be
cancelled for weather, or we ourselves may be on vacation,
or otherwise unable to attend.
The church's financial obligations don't take a break when
we do, so it is very helpful to meeting our budget, if you are
able to include the missed Sundays in your giving.
Thank you for supporting the ministries of our church.
Angie Curry
Financial Secretary
DIRECTORIES AVAILABLE
The new 2019-2020 Directory of Members and Friends are
ready for you to pick up on the foyer table.
