cleansing program.

The Philippine National Police (PNP)) is in need of 4,014 line officers and criminologists who will be
commissioned into the PNP Officer Corps under the 2018 Lateral Entry Program for Line Officers
duly approved by the National Police Commission.
In a statement, the PNP-Public Information Office said the Directorate for Personnel and Records
Management (DPRM) held a public opening of test results on Wednesday for lateral entry
applications as part of the preventive component of PNP’s internal cleansing program.
In a tabulation prepared by the Recruitment and Selection Division, 7,205 police officer candidates
took the 2018 Written Competitive Examination, wherein 3 from Marinduque Police Provincial Office
passed the said examination namely SPO3 Raquel Magyaya Lacdao, Mogpog MPS, SPO2 Edward B
Leaño, Marinduque PPO and SPO1 Liliy Galias Nicolas, Sta.Cruz MPS.
The candidates come from a pool of qualified Police Non-Commissioned Officers on active duty.
Moreover, the successful applicants for the lateral program will take their oath as PNP Line Officers
on March 4, 2019 to be administered by the PNP chief Director General Oscar Albayalde.
