LITERATURE REVIEW

 This is a follow up on the background.

 Give a summary of important information on the research topic. Start by defining

the key terms in your topic statement.

 Summarize and report on the previous studies that were conducted on the same

topic

 Outline the strengths and weaknesses of these studies

 Critically compare and analyse existing literature pointing out their similarities and

differences. (include two articles)

 Read over to ensure that it is coherent

 Should be about 3 pages.


METHODOLOGY

RESEARCH DESIGN – quantitative and qualitative data

RESEARCH INSTRUMENT – questionnaire, interview, textbook, observation

LIMITATIONS – any problems in collecting the data


PRESENTATION OF DATA

 These are the answers to the research questions

 For each research question, you have to present the data with a brief description

 Use tables, pie charts, bar graphs, line graphs

 All charts must be labelled


ANALYSIS OF DATA

 For each research question you need to state the result and expand using

examples that relate to the business.

 The discussions should be based on the diagrams

 Use statistics, percentages, values

 Outline patterns, trends, high points, similarities and differnces


INTERPRETATION OF RESULTS

 Discuss the results of your research with the theories and concepts (literature

review)

 Incorporate previous research and data from your articles

 Use proper citation


RECOMMENDATIONS

 Make recommendations for each research question, where possbile, based on

your findings

 Make at least four recommendations
