NATURAL PESTICIDE

BASED ON CHILIS
Hypothesis

If I put a natural pesticide with its main component is capsin in lactuca sativa (lettuce
Romana) during the growth phase then will eliminate the pest more efficient than a toxic
pesticide because it damage nerve membranes and disrupts the nervous system, in mites
and insects.
 Materials

■ Lettuce Romana seedling “plantula” 3

■ Flower pot 3
■ 1 Contaminated plant
■ 1 non-natural pesticide
■ Soil to plant “plantula”
■ 1 cup hot chili peppers, the hottest varieties work best
■ 1 cup of absinthe leaves(ajeno)
■ 6 cups of water
Methods
■ Mix 2 chili's, with 1,5g absinthe with 1 cup of water.
■ Add cups of water until 400ml and boil at 80 degrees for one houre.
■ Leave at rest for one hour.
■ Strain and spray.
■ Go to the nursery and by an infected plan.
■ Taste the natural fertilizer in the infected plan.
■ Plant the seedling of the lettuce Romana in a pot, where is good sunlight so the plant can
growth
■ Water it once a day until the soil is saturated, that is to say when they begin to form charos.
■ Use de natural fertilizer 1 week during 60 days.
■ Ones have pas the 60 days count the numbers of plague in the control group and the
experimental to have a conclusion.
