The main responsibilities are to focus on carrying out detailed engineering for large scale
projects,detailed design , provide necessary technical information for procurement, and
developing processes simulations and schemes by using computer models to evaluate the
solutions. Furthermore , you may be responsible for managing and conducting technical audits
and inspections, overseeing quality assurance.
Upon joining the Engineer will undergo orientation and on-the-job training at Air Liquide E&C
India office located in New Delhi during the first twelve months. Thereafter, the Engineer will be
assigned to an International offices within the Air Liquide E&C network.
Overall Purpose ● Develop possible relevant process solutions and ensure selection of
process solution according to ITB requirements with respect to
production, capital investment, efficiency, availability, schedule and / or
other criteria important to the customer.
● Coordinate with allocated process engineers(s), estimators, design
authorities and other functions involved in proposal development
● Provide technical sales service support.
Main Duties and ● Create and evaluate process options, define best solution and validate
Responsibilities the selection with the Design Authority.
● Support, interact and coordinate with Large Industries business
development , E&C centers and proposal team to ensure consistency
between requirements and technical solution.
● Support LI business development in technical presentations and
meetings.
● Assist in preparing proposal related documents, check and validate the
technical content.
● Coordinate and supervise proposal process activities and ensure
proper and efficient process design workflow.
● Check and insure proper preparation of process documents for
proposals (e.g heat & material balance, equipment sizing, utility
calculation, BFDs, equipment specifications)
● Ensure process design follows AL design and safety rules.
● Capitalise proposals in terms of process / technical solution /
competitiveness / customer’s selection criteria
● Collect information allowing E&C to improve the competitiveness of
current products and / or to develop new products & be force of
proposal within E&C organisation to promote the need for this
development.
