Program downloading procedure in LD2 and L64 machine display (E1061 and E1071)
through pen drive.

1. The required display software has to be converted in DAT file through the E-designer
software.
2. The converted DAT file has to be transferred to pen drive. In the pen drive, only one DAT
file should be available.
3. In the display, before updating the program, the existing program has to be erased by
doing the following procedure.
a. In back side of the display, the dip switches are available. During normal operation,
the dip switches are found OFF condition.
b. To erase the existing program in the display, the dip switches no: 1 has to be made
ON. The dip switch should be selected during power OFF condition of the display.
c. After switching ON the power supply, the display shows “ TOUCH ANY WHERE
ON THE SCREEN CALIBRATE”
d. Touch any of the places on the screen, then the display shows as follows.

TCP/IP SETTINGS
ERASE PROJECT
MEMORY
UPDATE SYSTEM
PROGRAM FROM
MEMORY CARD
CALIBRATE TOUCH

e. In the above screen, press the “ERASE PROJECT MEMORY”. After touching the
respective screen, the display asks the confirmation “ARE YOU ABSOLUTELY
SURE - YES / NO”
f. After pressing the “YES”, the existing program gets erased.
g. Switch off the display and change the dip switch No: 1 to off position. Then insert
the pen drive in the USB port of the display.
h. Switch ON the power supply unit. The program will be downloaded from pen drive
to the display.
i. After downloading the program, the display automatically boots up and it goes to
default screen.
j. Switch off the power supply of the display and remove the pen drive from the
display.
