‘The future’s bright; the future’s …………..tags!’

Several of the company site teams have developed a system for identifying the condition of work equipment
beyond the normal industry standard expected. For many years craftsmen have relied on ‘scafftags’ to show the
relative condition of work at height scaffold platforms and now they have adapted this trusted system to include;
♦ The oxy-acetylene set tag
♦ The portable electrical equipment PAT tag
♦ The on-site vehicle tag
All employees now have the opportunity to see at a glance that these items are in a safe condition to use or that
they have been suspended from use due to a defect. Although these tags were developed on specific sites, the
company is assessing their use across all operations.
