*We had a busy week here in Second Grade learning
about the forces that shape the surface of our
earth. We have also spent extra time practicing our Mar ch 15 t h , 2 019
triple digit addition and subtraction that requires
regrouping. Important Dates:
*In writing, we will be learning how to write an opinion
piece and how to provide reasoning for our opinion. March 20th
*Recess: All recess equipment is provided for

*Call for Coaches: This spring, we’re launching
April 6 th
FUTSAL in our athletics program! Futsal is similar
to indoor soccer; games will be played in our gym. International Festival
We’re looking for adult and high school futsal
coaches; please spread the word to help us recruit
futsal coaches as well as kickball supporters. The link April 15-April 22

*Beginning March 25th, our NWEA testing window
opens. We will be spreading out the three tests over
the course of two weeks. To prepare for the testing April 27th
time, please make sure your student is well rested and

*Our field trip to B Street Theater is on
Wednesday, March 20th. We will be departing
campus around 10 AM in order to arrive to the
theater in time to have an early lunch at Sutter Park
before our 11:30 show time. As of now, we are able to
accommodate additional parents that would like to
pay the $12 ticket price and join us for the show.
Email me if you are interested in meeting us there and
I will make sure we have seating available for all.
*March into Spring! We are working together to
have as many walkers as possible! We have until March Contact Mrs. Morgan
