PURPOSE: We have a known problem inserting the SD card in Magellan 3200 scanners made
after November 6th, 2012.

When ECO 6893 was released to add a rubber connector seal to close the gap around the
connectors to prevent bugs from getting into the scanner it also shifted the PCB board enough
so that the access for the SD card to be inserted is blocked.

SYMPTOMS: See picture.

SOLUTION: The short term solution is to remove the piece of plastic between the SD slot and
the micro SD connector by cutting it out.

The long term solution is new vendor tooling for the rubber seal to be created and implemented
in production. This is expected to take 4 to 5 months.

POLICY: Very few customers use the SD connector and there will be no change in production
part until the new tooling is complete. The short term solution will be advised on a customer
complaint bases.
