Hose Test Pressure: 2 bar/ .2 MPa Maximum Distance: 1.5 m Nozzle diameter: 12 mm Hatch cover and water tight doors should be closed The upright welds shall be rinsed from bottom to top If hose test is not possible then DPT, Ultrasonic leak test, or alternative test accepted by CCS 4. Ultrasonic Test A test to verify the tightness of a sealing by means of ultrasonic Ultrasonic emitter inside the tank and a receiver outside. The location where sound is received by receiver indicating the joint with leak 5. Flooding Test Flooding test shall be applied to Galley, Dry Provisions STRM, Vegetable STRM, Fish/Meat STRM, Milk STRM, Shower RM, Toilet, Laundry RM and battery RM. The flood is up to sill high and holding 12 minutes to verify that no leakages exist 6. Kerosene oil test (KT) Time 60 minutes with 10 mm thickness Time 30 to 45 minutes with 6 to 9 mm thickness Time 20 to 30 minutes with thickness 3 to 5 mm 7. Deformation / Fairness a.
