Annotated Bibliography Reflection

While in the process of constructing my annotated bibliography for our analytical report,

I used many of Lane Community College’s “Core Learning Outcomes”. Most of the research

consisted of ePortfolio, customization of websites, and the creation of a website. Thinking

critically, communicating effectively, engaged diverse values with civic and ethical awareness,

as well as applying learning are a few of the outcomes I used to create this bibliography.

Identifying key issues is a main part of thinking critically. I Made sure I was asking

myself questions that my readers might ask, and I found reasonable data and information to

resolve those questions. To find the correct answers, I had to find reliable sources from multiple

forms of information; video, academic journal, blog, etc. The useful information was condensed

and cited to relay where I got the information. I made sure the information I was using was

thoroughly evaluated and actually supported my information.

This projects consists of constantly asking yourself question that one might have while

reading the report. I had to engage in diverse values with civic and ethical awareness by

evaluating perspectives of others. I had to put myself in the shoes of someone who matches my

audience and use profile. While asking questions and gathering information, I had collaborated

with a group of students to reach the same goal. I got input from those group members with open

ears.

All through this project I was given chances to make changes and better the paper and I

did so. The time to reflect on the assignment is the time to improve and succeed. The revisions I

was given made me think of what I could do differently to answer the questions of my peers or

possible questions of my audience. The use of reflection really makes me more confident in my

process and helps me understand what challenge or assignment I am given.
