Round Table Discussions

My active participation in the round table discussion forum was an engaging and

enriching experience that has allowed me to actively contribute to a dynamic and

collaborative learning community. As a participant, I had the opportunity to share my

thoughts, insights, and perspectives on various topics to my colleagues in the program.

This opportunity has helped me foster and expand on my own understanding as well as

helped enhance my critical thinking and collaboration through these discussions. To

actively participate in the round table discussions, I approached each topic and video

with an open mind and a willingness to explore different viewpoints. I also carefully read

and analyzed the initial post or prompts, taking the time to comprehend my colleague’s

viewpoints. Drawing upon my knowledge and personal experiences, I crafted thoughtful

and well- articulated responses that contributed to the ongoing conversation(s).

In my contributions, I aimed to add value by offering my own perspectives by

commenting and by providing information about the readings/videos as well. Through

these interactive exchanges, I have also fostered a sense of collaboration and

community within the discussion board forum. Additionally, out of 30 points I believed

that I scored 27 points out of 30 in this segment of the course assignments because I

actively engaged with my fellow colleague’s posts by reading and responding to their

thoughts. I also incorporated various perspectives and thought(s) into my personal

assignments that I have submitted to BlackBoard as well. I worked really hard to

engage with the material that I have read by incorporating multiple viewpoints and ideas
throughout my submissions. My participation in the assignments was marked by my

dedication and commitment in producing high-quality work. I approached each

assignment with a sense of responsibility and a desire to learn and to demonstrate my

understanding of the subject matter. I carefully read and analyzed the assignment

instructions to help ensure my understanding of the requirements and expectations that

were expected from me as a graduate student. I paid close attention to specific

guidelines, formatting requirements and the overall criteria. Through utlizing and reading

credible sources such as academic journals, books, and websites has allowed me to

gather relevant information and understanding of the subject which has helped support

my arguments and claims altogether.

By presenting my idea in a well-organized and coherent manner, I facilitated

effective communication and made it easier for others to engage with my contributions.

Furthermore, even though I missed two initial commenting posts I believe that I actively

engaged with my colleague’s new posts by desmonstrating active listening skills. By

awknowldeding and addressing the points raised by others in my replies, I showcased

my willingness to engage in a back-and-forth exchange that has helped foster a deeper

understanding of the topic altogether. Overall, my participation in the discussion board

forum was characterized by active engagement, respectful dialogue, and contributing to

a vibrant learning community. By sharing my insights, and engaging with my colleagues

has overall helped me gain valuable knowledge and perspectives from others.
