What We Value
Educating: Children and adults should know where their food is coming from,
how it grows, why it’s good for them and that it is delicious! The more that a child
sees and touches fruits and vegetables in their natural state, the more likely they
are to eat it. It doesn’t matter how nutritious and beneficial produce is, if a child
doesn't eat it, it’s not doing them any good.
Entertaining: Here at the farm, we make eating fruits and vegetables fun with our
tours. Children can especially benefit from learning through hands on
experiences. Being in the field and seeing where their food is growing and tasting
it is a memorable experience for a young child. We want children to come away
from their experiences at the farm with a positive outlook on fruits and
vegetables by making our tours fun and enjoyable for everyone.

Giving back: We love our community and we think it is absolutely necessary that
Ornate Farms gives back to the community that supports us. We donate
thousands of BDT a year to schools that participate in our different program.
Thousands of amount of fresh Ornate Farms produce is donated to different
Families Forward. Both of these organizations provide food for families in need.
Thousands of BDT are raised at fundraising events held at the farm to help
farmers in need, families with victims of childhood cancer and various youth
organizations.
